thief
He stole my heart and tore it all apart; a smile, a laugh, a photograph. A one eyed witch and a twitch that I can't quite graph. I wanted to walk down the stairs but he thieved my legs like he took my lips. On that rock like salamanders, our tongues intertwined, and he said he was mine.
pretzel
The line was at a stand-still, and all I wanted was to maybe just touch his hand or hear him say my name. I've always liked the way my name flicks off of tongue after tongue of man after man; so quick and sweet like a jolly rancher or something of the sort. The line for the pretzels was so long, but I had to wait. I had to see him, had to qualify to myself that he was real.
