I walk onto the stage. The spotlight is on me. From below I look as if it comes from a light inside me, but I myself am dark. My hair, long and straggly falls from around my shoulders, and I wait.
time goes by for weeks and weeks on end. but at the same time the weeks never come. I'm waiting for them to pass and wishing they would stay. Conflicting feelings suppress my heart... I'm stuck in the middle waiting for the weeks but not knowing if I want them to stay or go.
The decorated arches brought a bright happiness in her. Seeing the care and preparation that was put in, really made her feel wanted and needed. Could it be she had taken them for granted? Finally, she could smile again.
She looks up to the sky, without questioning why... why the stars sparkle so bright, why the moon is only as big as your thumb, why everything around her seems so numb, because the one she loves isn't as vastly as far away as the miles that separates her from the night sky above.
