forgotten
Forgotten. I have completely forgotten what it is like to comfortably fall into the arms of another. This could be terrible or liberating. I am yet to know the answer to said problem, but I am sure that we will find out before too long. We will see if the forgotten is is gone forever.
vodka
You leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Addictive like a numbing alcohol -- vodka -- that burns and refreshes my mind. Forgetting you is never enough. I welcome feeling nothing as I think of how you loved me -- didn't love me.
bones
Send these bones -- dying and alone -- to their empty grave. Box up what isn't right, take my hand and we'll take flight. Forget about the rotting flesh, now lying on the ground -- fresh. Let's breathe deep, cover the dead bodies and create a memory.
bones
Here I lay, dusty bones. Look at what was my face, tell me the lies that kept me in place. Speak of a love that I never knew; give me what then was too much for you. Hold my brittle fingers, tell me that you love me -- lie for all to hear. Take me, hold my breaking bones.
birth
Between the best of us was the birth of something great. The screams and cries were pennies to the wealth of our new world. Some of you, and most of me, was the love we thought we never would see. Oh, the birth of something great.
birth
The birth of a rising sun has met us once again. Around us now, is a woman left to win. The grounds are taken from our hands. Sit and watch as they overthrow our lands.
waver
Take time and waver from what feels right. Take time, step back, and look at everything you call "life". Don't fret over previous beings, taking over all that we've ever seen. It's okay not to know, not to feel okay. It wouldn't be wavering if there were nothing to waver from. If there were no past to step back and finish covering behind layers of sand.
waver
Waver from the past. Take up arms and follow your fellow men into war. Waver from your first love. Forget about the gentle kisses and become drunken with that anew. Waver from familiarity. Move.
