I had a peculiar dream about a shepherd once. He had long, black hair and thick eyebrows that matched. I found one of his lambs and returned it to him. Afterwards, we lay under a tree for hours, as he taught me everything one needs to know about being a shepherd. I feel that, though it was a dream, if all else fails, I have a promising career as a shepherd.
I remember the day perfectly. I was sitting on the couch when I heard the news of his death. In that moment, I had no emotion. I has empty of everything. I remained on that couch for what seemed like days. It is the first thing I think of when I hear the word 'couch.'
