camp
I hate camping. Honestly, I love the idea of getting in touch with nature, and being inspired by natural beauty, and I have a great respect for people that love and know how to camp. But I'm not one of them. Maybe someday I'll learn how to love sleeping in a tent, and hanging my food from trees in trash bags, and eating ramen noodles every night. But I just don't have the capacity to appreciate it right now.
bandana
It's like a representation of my identity, something on the outside that everyone can see. No one but me and my closest friends understands what it means, but it's enough that it's just there, a stamp of honor, something that you can't miss. Wearing the bandana will never make up for the loss I experienced, but it also means that I'll never forget what happened, or let it happen to me.
