Ice covered the streets and you covered your eyes as I covered quick ground headlong to reach you. The places in ourselves that had been covered from view sprang open as I hit the ground hard and uncovered a skull and a bare glimpse of gray matter; your distaste for me was uncovered as you turned on your heel and strode briskly away.
