Plants make me think of my mom, who has the biggest green thumb in Buena Vista County. Her gardens were full of plants of all sorts, colors, sizes, and lives. They breathed life into her identity, and her identity and love breathed life into them in return. She could always nurture any plant at any time.
I am currently being the best kind of teacher: an investigator. I am doing my best work investigating all sorts of things I can do with my new teaching position as a 6th grade literacy teacher, and I am thoroughly excited about all the opportunities I will have in this new adventure.
