  1. I brushed the dust off my dad’s favourite album and tipped it to one side. What slipped out of the sleeve into my hand was the key. The key to fixing everything that had gone wrong.

  2. There exists an urban legend, very rarely told, in fact so rarely, only four people in the world know the tale. However, I shall reveal this secret story to you all now. It takes place in a small, unnamed town in the United States of America. One night a year, on national food day, which is on October 24th, this town becomes blanketed in fog. In the night, it is said that this boy emerges from the forest nearby. THE LEGENDARY SLEEVE EATING BOY! Legend has it that this boy enters people’s houses while they sleep, and eats crumbs that have fallen into people’s sleeves, and then disappears until next year.

  3. The sweater was worn and scratchy. I hated it, an old gift that my mother insisted I wore, so as not to offend someone. I had hidden it away in the back of my closet, succesfully making sure I never had to wear it again.

  4. The trix I’ve got there
are melting in the sweat of my forarm
and now my sleeve sticks to my skin
and bright colors seep through the fabric.
