The pressure swelled around her, frothing in rolling waves of papers, blued by poorly made points. She was drowning in ineptitude.

Happy. Love. Enjoying life. Just doing fine. Put on a smile on your face. Put on a smile in your heart. Good attitudes and good vibes. Making others happy around you. Got a good aura. Loving yourself, life, people, everything.

The swell of my heart is hard to control as everyday you add more love to me and you made it so big and it refuses to shrink and so I can never let go

What a swell guy he was. Or should I say “swelling?” Once I realized who that debonair, personable gentleman actually was, I’d punched him in the face and tied him up before he regained consciousness.

i’m not going to write about the word swell because it’s a stupid word and means nothing to me.

Awesome is as awesome is. I think we all have cool ideas which can either be considered swell, or can swell into even greater ones. See what I did there? That in itself was swell.

It so swell to meet him at the farmer’s market. He eyes were a beautiful dark brown and his arms were swollen with muscles. Beautiful chocolate muscles. I was afraid to approach him, but he approached me first.

happy, something that makes your day because it is so out of the blue and awesome. A word my friend Hayley says all the time. A word that makes you smile because it is so odd but so funny and entertaining as well. Positive. happy.

Whenever I do something right I can feel my chest swelling as if I was a turtle dove looking for a partner. Is it really bad to feel proud for the good work. Maybe I shouldn’t be that proud just prod in a nice way.

I was swelling with joy. I had learned that I got into the IASAS team for MUN. It was my first season trying out, so I had no idea that I was going to be chosen for the best team. It was easily one of the most accomplishing moments of my highschool career.

Sleep was a rare luxury that week… much as the earth is a lonely soul in the crowded room of the universe, their vessel was getting on for 800 miles from their nearest neighbour, and with seas like this, their bones ached from supporting the pendulous forces on their water rich flesh. The swell was reaching 40ft at times, and the only way through was to ride it out, lest hell came from high water.

Well it’s that just great? I mean, really, who uses that word without sarcasm? They go together. This isn’t the 40’s or whenever they actually meant that. Wait. They did mean it at one point. Jeez, and we thought our future was in trouble. What about the past?!

It is to increase in size, but what exactly! Ones head with ridiculous notions or intelligible thoughts. It could be expansion of any material and whether that material breaks after it or just makes life hell. It can also be used as a slang meaning super. Like for example ” how did ballet go?” ” swell”
By Rania URL on 01.31.2013
It swelled. But what is it? Is it swell that it or he swelled? Well, that’s matter of opinion and consent. If it was given and it wasn’t asked for then, why the hell did he swell anyway? It not his choice. Sometimes it just happens and you can’t choose why or how or when, Just face the right way and maybe take a sip from your drink because it will never stop unless your eyes do and even then, the imagination is powerful, more capable of stimulating all the senses than visual stimuli alone. enjoy my friends and don’t resent the swell. It is swell.

The swell at the beach is great for surfing. The waves are just right that the famous surfing spot is full of people.

The ocean swell was excellent for surfing this time of year Jon thought. He had moved to the shore just to be able to surf anytime. The salt air just makes your outlook on life better, add the physical aspect of surfing-and life is great.

From far off across the grey waters, I could see the swell moving toward me, growing and looming. I paddled faster, not ready for such a monstrous wave to topple me on my first trip out on the board.

Thousands of Ironman spectators and athletes swell town’s coffers.
A swell, in the context of an ocean, sea or lake, is a series of surface gravity waves that is not generated by the local wind.

The swelling and ebbing of the water fascinated her. It was as if it was luring her, calling for her to walk further, to go deeper. She could almost see herself walking in, step by step, until the water washes right over her head and she is fully submerged in that astounding, never ending blue. It would be beautiful.

No one uses the word swell anymore. It seems like a word that only existed in Grease. But actually, it’s a pretty cool word. Swell. It’s much better than “awesome” or “sick.” It sounds happy and bubbly…maybe that is why it’s lost popularity. No one wants to sound like a hyper girl from a 50 or 60s movie.

After a night of tequlia with heavy-set Richard, the last place I wanted to be was on a boat, the heavy swells of the sea, rocking us back and forth, violently ripping my stomach lining from its resting spot, daring me to to hurl my breakfast across the roof of the boat.
Swell, This word makes me think of the 1950’s, as in gee whiz, that’s swell. Picture some guy in khaki pants and a button down shirt with a pocket protector and white socks walking down the street talking to his nerdy friends.
