I am feeling funky fresh right now. Memories of off the shoulder sweatshirts, jordache jeans and skips have invaded my mind.

The fresh fruit sat on the counter where it had been placed only moments before. Oranges, apples, bananas all mixed together in the bowel. The colours had been muted by the blood which had been sprayed when the shot rang out.

The strawberries in my fridge are so not fresh anymore. In fact, they’re the exact opposite. All moldy and fussy and my boyfriend actually got really sad when he saw that they were fuzzy. Already having a bad week in his book, the strawberries sent him over the edge, so now he’s gone to bed and left me alone. :(

She hugged herself tightly, her arms doing little to stave off the cold air. “It’s fresh out this morning,” she explained to Connor.
He laughed. “You haven’t been in Canada for very long, have you?”

I need something new. Something fresh in my life. Isn’t that what we all want? A new start, something that makes us genuinely excited. It’s all about kicking back and just letting something completely take you by surprise. Let the fresh start begin—don’t be afraid of what’s to come.

Breathe in the air.
So fresh and so clean
It will fill you with simple purity
Nothing more nothing less
hard to explain but you will know when you have experienced it. :)

I need a fresh look, something new, something to get me out of this numb feeling. I need an escape, a new view, something. Time to empty out the rottenness and pick something new out of the garden.
By Narie Alassiel on 10.10.2012
A lot of things are fresh… like foods. I really like bread. It’s really good because it smells so good and it’s so warm… but there’s also stuff like “fresh” deodorant, which is really bad because it smells like baby powder, and I really think that smells disgusting… but whatever. Let’s talk about food. I really love fresh green beans. My mom used to grow them in the garden, but now she doesn’t garden anymore and that’s sad.

the freshness in the air was a welcome change after the dark and musty basement. it wasn’t until she felt the breeze on her face once more that she realized just how much she had lost while imprisoned in that dreadful place.

Fresh, like autumn leaves and forever. Like walking through a crisp October day and smelling the leaves and knowing that the world is turning. Fresh, like laundry hanging on the line, or the smell of my mother’s lotion. Fresh, like the feeling of clean sheets on a lazy afternoon, and the tingly feeling of new love.
By Alanna on 10.10.2012
Today’s feeling of freshness comes from the wind blowing powerfully through the midnight air. Yes, midnight means it’s tomorrow already. I hope for a blustery day so often associated with multicolored dead leaves, apples and pumpkins. I hope to be outside to experience hot coffees and single cigarettes with someone I care about, walking down a side street in suburban long island. Inhale.

The smell of freshly cut grass. The feeling of the sun’s warm rays on my face. The crisp cool breeze rustling through my hair.
I miss home.
I hate it here.

Everything is a fresh start. I watch to be cleaner, inside and outside, I think. I want to start feeling good. Just give me fruits and your spare time because I like knowing that my body is on par with my mind. I want to be clean. I want to be perfect and maybe I want to be whatever it is that goodness means to the rest of the world.

Fresh out of the refrigerator was a leftover casserole. I lifted up the plastic covering and smelled the thawing meat, the dry cheese. A spin in the microwave could soften it a bit. It would do.
Jason was still taking a shower as I ate. We were supposed to be at Lucy’s recital in an hour. I didn’t quite understand why he couldn’t shower in the morning or at least some time that didn’t send me into a panic about whether or not we’d make it somewhere in time.

Your fresh heart is pounding in my hand.
I’m not sorry.
It’s another one to add to my collection.
I’m Judas, darling, and I’ve kissed you twice.
You should have known better than to dance with the devil.
Oh you taste just like disaster…

i need a fresh kleenex becasue these tears wont stop. what happened to last week, to the last 6 hours. how can a mood change so frantically, yet i am here living my life as though it is my last. i just want you to hold me and tell me you will take care of me til my last breath, not watch me walk away trying to catch the tears streaming on the pavement.

Today will be a fresh new day. Fresh as leaves and vegetables. Fresh as snow and clear rivers. Fresh as fish and air. Fresh as clothes straight from the wash and fresh as tears straight from a heartbreak. Fresh as batches of cookies and milk. Fresh is good.

The fresh flowers
That fall to pieces
When the beauty
Of the fallen
Is the beauty of the world
And everyone one breathes in the
Crisp fallen leaves
And we all believe in the changing of seasons.

The wind blew on her face as she stepped into the sunlight. Flower buds opened to greet the flowing sunlight, and a pleasant sea breeze filled her lungs as her dress blew in small ruffles around her. It was a nice day. The perfect day for the end of the world.

I want to be fresh. I want to be pure. I want to be clean. I want to look into the mirror and not feel worn and tainted and dirty. I want to be innocent again. But I guess we don’t always get what we want in life.

When I get out of the shower, or when the first thing I do in the morning is take a very satisfying stretch. Fresh is when it has just rained and you can smell the moisture in the air. Fresh is clean sheets. The smell of your loved ones neck. Fresh.

All my life I’ve hunted the white-bellied beasts of the sea. But it’s never been enough. My prey was always too slow, too weak. Prizes were never big enough, risks never as severe as I would like. It’s frustrating, sitting here without a way to test myself. To entertain these dark thoughts. Who knows what would happen if I changed prey type from fish to… Something else.
Surely you can understand my feelings, though. And keep this chase fresh and alive for me.
Tell me, how does it feel to be fish?

Hope it doesn’t stain this fish

New clean green wet. I walk outside after the rain, after you’ve gone, after the heat and the dry, and I find that all the smog has been replaced with silver fresh. Plants squished worms fresh fresh fresh

The girl wandered through the farmer’s market, basket on her arm. She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she bent down to examine the fruit on the table before her. She lifted an apple up to the sun, it’s shiny red casing casting a glare in her eyes. She put it down in front of the man across from her. “This one is good,” she smiled, drawing her wallet from the bag at her hip.
