Discovering things is a way for you to learn more about the world around you, and even about yourself. Lately, I have been discovering a lot of things about myself. It is all very interesting to me. I have been discovering more about my past, my present, and my future. I was digging up through old books the other day, and that is when I was discovering about myself from the past.

When others go to the beach, what do they do? Suntan? I don’t. I dig into the sand. I dig really deep holes, because i know one day i’ll find a message that says “No treasure here”. I know I striked gold.

It was a discovery that she wasn’t ready to make about herself. She’d always seen herself as a passionate person, one who did things. And so when she looked back at her life, really looked at it in a new light, it crushed her to discover what she saw. There wasn’t anything there. There was a lot of excuses and little results.

One day I walked into the forests behing my home. I had never been there before, the fear of getting lost drived me insane. But i finally got the courage to venture into the woods. For you see all my friends and family had betrayed me, but those woods had remained in my backyard since the day I was born. Well, I walked into the woods to be ignored by all the creatures in there, except for one little rabbit who made its way toward me.

I wish I could have eternity to discover everything about the universe, in all aspects: people, life, science, art, the mundane and the exciting, the known and the unknown. I guess when my time comes I’ll just have to rest easy knowing I’ve done my best to discover all that I could.

who you are.
what you are in relation to yourself.
can one be discovered if we hide inside ourselves?
we must first discover what we need to discover before we can uncover inside our minds.
discover yourself. then do it again.
then discover yourself in love.

I can’t wait to travel more. To explore. To search. To journey. To really live it. Find it. Looking for something new. That’s what I look forward to. Someday. Finding something new. In myself. In someone else. In the world.
I want to find my own secrets. I want to discover something new.

the window pains were stained white with all my lies
and the borders were splintered from fear.
I took a deep breath and further fogged the glass, I fingered a heart and saw
the green grass on the other side.
I had discovered the power of truth
The power of a heart.
No more lies.

What is there left in the world to discover. It seems lie everyday I hear the words ” I know” come from those who are younger than me. Do they really know thevils of the world or are they in some fantacy that lu they can control. If they really know than why do they o the thing they do? Why is it when those of us whom are older tell them some thing and the responce we get is ” I know”. I’m glad that the young ones know everything but whats going to happen to them when something new comes along? Will they ignore it, or will they take a chance to discover what the meaning behind this new thing and once again inbrace what it means to be human?

Entdeckung.

Sometimes it takes you a long time to find something worth taking a long time to find. Why does that sound like something that would be e-mailed to me by my grandmother? I can’t help that when I’m put on the spot I start sounding like a terrible Hallmark card.

She twisted the ends of her hair. Watched as it gleamed in the fading light. Sure it was nice to look at, but it didn’t define her. As she moved her elbow to inspect the strand more closely, the lab results she’d received that morning fluttered to the floor. But she hadn’t noticed. She was still trying to discover why everyone thought a woman’s hair was so beautiful.

The freezing rain wouldn’t stop, but I discovered the sparkling snow on day 3 and fell in love with this place despite all the gray.
What might we discover if we just allow the words to flow – snippets of unconscious flotsam and suddenly the discomfort of a memory, a childhood misery, and we drift into the egocentricity of recall.

when I went to a new park I tried to find everything that I never saw before. Usually it was some foreign plant but other times it was people. People and what they were doing. You never realize how different people live until you sit down and stare.

Looking around. What is left to discover? Sometimes I think that everything that’s left to be found has been found. So, what can I build my name on? Humans have been discovering things throughout history. But there is always something more to discover; that’s how we progress.

I discovered yesterday her capacity to endure. Amidst a crumbling world, she stood, up and out, and she sang her song to a mass of people disillusioned. I discovered that even from her knees she glowed internally, with the fire of a thousand suns. She looked into black clouds and dared them to blot her out. I discovered yesterday that this girl, all limbs and fragile bird bones, she was me. I discovered myself. I discovered.

I discovered the secret land under my bed when I was 7 years old. I had crawled there to hide from the monsters – the ones in the kitchen cupboard – when I realized that no place in house was safe. The land under my bed wasn’t dangerous in the strictest sense, but it wasn’t safe either.

“So how do we discover what happened to me?”
“How YOU discover. I already know.”
“Can’t you give me one little hint?”
He shook his head. “Sorry. It doesn’t work that way. No matter how convincingly I tell you, you won’t really KNOW anything until you remember it on your own.”
“How can you be so sure I will?”
“Newton’s First Law of Motion.”
“It’s already begun. You’ve established momentum.”
