The mere mention of the word Chores mean work in any order. I have made a list of all the things that I have to do for the next two days, these chores really get to me.

chores. work. grueling in the summer heat. my dad’s yard was my only hope of earning a few dollars.

her each day was wrapped up in daily household chores leaving her with no time to look into what she really needed for herself. at the end of day when she found a little gap for reading her tired eyes betrayed her. Kamla’s zest for studying, her only way out of this vicious struggle, appeared timid under the burden of the tasks that lay in her path.

Life seemed like an unending chore. For every one task completed lay another 50 untouched, and for every group of them another thousand yet to even be conceived. It was circumbendibus and trivial, and nothing ever changed.

So- after another day busting my balls- I sit there thinking, “What kind of life is it when you spend more time working than playing, more time on chores than on play, less time in pleasure, more time in pain?”
Then, through my window I notice the moon, beautiful in the sky and realise without the night, it would never shine.

Shiloh was always jealous that I didn’t have any chores. I mean, I had little things, like keeping my room neat or doing up the dinner dishes, but my mom always said, “Oh, Ava, growing up is a job all it’s own. Soon enough you’ll have more chores than you think you can handle. Go, be a kid.”

If you’re not going to do it with a good heart, don’t do it at all!

I hate them. They remind me of being a helpless child who has nothing to do but slave to the older generations. They made me cry they had me die I want to be free and fly.
By Oliver Fernandez on 07.09.2011
mopping the floor. doing the dishes. sending the mail. getting the lunch. making dinner. lots of sweat. tired of walking around. wanting to find a seat. laborious. need a shower later. not enjoyable.

i hate chores. they take up so much time. washing. cleaning. ironing. i’m so glad i only had to start them this year. i really could never be a maid. contionous chores. boring cleaning.
By Lisa URL on 07.09.2011
I don’t like chores very much but I do them anyway. I know I’ll get a lot out of it beside the minimal allowance. Doing what you don’t want to do, but having to do it applies to too many things in this world. Simple chores, big deal. Very big.

I can procrastinate about work I have to do and suddenly the house will be clean and tidy and every job will be done. But if I have nothing to do for work then I will procrastinate with the chores
By Susan on 07.09.2011
Chores keep the mind busy for a minute or so. they distract from the word. They make friends occupied when you really wanna talk and can take over your life i you dont pay attention.
By Lucian Petrova URL on 07.09.2011
i never really get any chores cause we basically do our own dishes and all. i don’t mind doing chores as I actually enjoy it? Helping my family seem just nice. so, i dont mind. :)

And yet again I coke up this morning to a whole lot of chores to do. I really need to move to my own apartment.

I picked up the final dish and scrubbed it’s surface. Blue dish washing soap dripped down the sides and left inky puddles on the sink’s metallic surface. I rinsed the dish, and delicately set it to the side.

The chores lined up in front of him weren’t those one would usually read off a list. It was questionable whether they were vanilla enough to even be called chores at all.
By Emily URL on 07.09.2011
got to do something, work, boring, tasks, mum, tedious, someone else should do it. whats the point, silly jobs, cleaner?! why should i do it. siblings, parents, grandparents awkward, annoying!
By courtney on 07.09.2011
Lucille knew that chores were hard work most of the time, though often she thought her chores fun, at least, when she was a kid she did, as she got older, the harder they seemed to get, and the more she seemed to have to do. It was not fair, but, who ever said life, or chores was fair, if anyone could say that, they were dead wrong 99.9% of the time, though they probably would never admit they were wrong.
By Anne Harlow URL on 07.09.2011
i don’t know a lot about chores, because it’s not my interest area. and i suck in written english, so this will probably be quite lame. and i am a musical antitalent. yeah.

and the world began to stumble upon the utter ignorance of the lesser souls. the minds inside hid with fear from dark mysteries somewhere over the horizon. there were people though who were not afraid and they decided to fight back against the despair. they built castles and dreams and left their islands to swim into paradise.
By Jake on 07.09.2011
they have to be done. I really dont’t like them I wish someone else would do them but I would not want to loucnish them, perhaps I could invent a reobot that is both a chor doer and a friend, one whom I coukd say stop now robot, let’s have a grand glass of red and talk for hours and talk about chores
By di on 07.09.2011
Daily chores was never one of my favorite activities. Cleaning never caught my interest in any ways. It must be done though, according to the parents all over the world. Sometimes I wonder what teen actually wants to do their chores. Not me! That’s for sure!

I really hate doing chores. It is 8 in the morning an I already need to clean. I work so hard on this house. ARG. That’s my noise for annoyance. Thanks to my dear sister.

It seems that I have already written about this topic today. I wish I knew how to work this website. Ridiculousness. Seriously. I need a new word. Someone help me. :(
i hate them. they always take so long to do and there’s always more to do the next day. Why do we have to do them? we dont even get an allowance or anything. at least pay us. Dang. fsjgnasklasd i hate chores.
By Meghan on 07.09.2011
I hated them as a child, they seemed so daunting.
Now i accept them, just accept them.
Then they are no longer chores, just a task,
a meager act to be done!

Chores. They are invisible waiting in the shadows of life. Ready. Soon to pounce and fuck up your planned afternoon or relaxing weekend. Soon though, they will not be as much of a burden. Children are easily conned into burdening some of the load.
By Spencer Campbell on 07.09.2011
Chores are the things that will teach you lessons. Yes, your parents make you do them cause you think they are punishing you for something. Honestly doing chores will teach you timeliness, and will teach you to finish things to the best of your abilities. Just like your parents if you don’t do a chore right they make you do it again and again.
By Chelsea on 07.09.2011
chores are typically arduous. nobody likes them. and those that do aren’t completing chores. they’re doing what they want to. a chore can be doing dishes or mowing the lawn, but it is really just anything you don’t like. a chore to me can be a gift to someone else. listening to music could be a chore. it’s not to me. but it could be to someone else.
By Anna on 07.09.2011
chores I hate to do , but when you are single they give your life purpose. Work is a chore, but you get paid to do it. parent bribed you with money to do chores. Chores rhymes with bore and snore and anything more?

I drew the sword from the sheath and grimaced. There was dirt all up and down the blade and what looked like rust on the hilt. Sighing, I grabbed a cloth, dipped it in the bucket of soapy water, and went to scrubbing the sword clean. Evan never took care of his weapons properly, so it made chore day a bit difficult for everyone.
By Caitlin on 07.09.2011
Chores are boring, lousy, breakable deadlines that loom at the beginning of the day for aspiri8ng people but wait in the night & early hours for procrastinators like you and I. No end.
By kira hughes on 07.09.2011
