Because everyday you’ve spend behind
Because everyday you need to see
The beauty of the world
For all that is good
For all that is right
For the greatness to fill you
Then again as you sleep

It finally ended She thought to herself. She was unsure of whether or not she should celebrate or just not do anything at all. But it was over. He was finally out her life and she was finally free of his manipulative and controlling grasp.

and its moments
one day at a time
birthdays, and weddings, and graduations
aren’t the only times to celebrate
because each and every second
is oh-so-worthy of it

Today is the day of my daughters birthday. It is a time of joy and happiness as she turns one. Its hard to believe that 12 months ago, I was holding her in my arms for the very first time. It’s amazing how time flies, and before we know it, she’ll be going off to college.

I like to celebrate. The word celebrate makes me think of a really good time. It makes me think of parties, mostly graduation parties. For some reason I don’t really think of birthday parties as celebrations because as you get older, you really don’t celebrate that much and I guess I have an old soul, or am around older people too much to have them celebrate about their birthdays. Sometimes I like to celebrate for nothing, or something small, like a job well done on a test or something. But not often. Maybe because I don’t feel proud of myself, even though I do do fairly well on tests and what not for me to have enough celebrations for them. I don’t know. I feel like people who celebrate things a lot must be optimists and live better lives because they must always be happy because they celebrate a lot. Maybe people who don’t celebrate anything are introverts who kind of hate life, because they have nothing to celebrate and so they’ve kind of just given up. I see the word celebrate as a yellow word. Like a huge, happy party. I don’t know if that makes sense. People who don’t celebrate are seen by me as a darker color, like a brown or something because they’re not bright and happy and ecstatic to celebrate life.

It was another one of those days; but not the kind where it felt like the whole world was against me. This wasn’t an “I hate the world” day; it was a “I hate myself” type thing. So I went home to celebrate with a glass of wine, and a good book. What was the occasion? Why it was my own little pity party. The only kind I seem to throw these days.

“Happy Birthday.” he whispered in my ear and opened my door.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!” shouts came from my now brightly lit bedroom.
I looked around in surprise. “You guys…how did you know it was my birthday?”
Theana smiled, “James told us!” She rushed forward with a vice-like hug. “Why didn’t you tell us! We need to know these things for advanced birthday gift shopping.”
I was startled, “Birthday gifts?!” Pulling out of the hug I shook my head, “Nonono. You really shouldn’t buy me anything.”
“Why not?” Theana asked looking at me saddened.
“Because I’m not allowed to accept gif…” I cut myself off. I wasn’t in the orphanage anymore. I could accept gifts if I wanted to. I looked up at them standing around looking at me curiously.
James nudged me a bit, ‘Go on.’ he thought, ‘You can do as you like now.’
I turned to him, tears welling up and threw my arms around him. ‘I want this.’ I thought. ‘Thank you.’
“I love you.”

Every life landmark is celebrated with anyone you can gather. Your friends, family, coworkers, even acquaintances gather for a BBQ for yet another birthday. You’ve been born, you’ve been married, and now the only celebration left is the annual birthday.
You’ll never know how much we’ll miss those BBQs.

To celebrate is to enjoy each other’s company and show your appreciation. Celebrating never turns out the way I think it will. I expect pure happiness, but in reality it isn’t like that.

celebrate your life everyday! right when you wake up in the morning and see the rays of sun shining, as you walk to the bus and catch your ride to the city, while you cook dinner for 2, in the shower, at the club, before you go to sleep!
Rejoice you are alive! rejoice you have today and all it’s events :)

Celebrations are life. They make you feel happy and festive. They make you forget all about your sorrows. We should celebrate more often with friends and family. They make us feel full of life!
Life would have been very boring with celebrating little things in life.
Lets celebrate LIFE!

Each day we must celebrate life. It is a gift denied to many at a young age. Each day you must appreciate every moment, no matter how small. At the end of each day you must celebrate every breath you were able to have.

Fireworks blossom in the sky with loud crackle and pops. Sparklers light the air, miniature versions of the lights in the sky. The stars twinkle merrily behind the exploding lights as if the skies are celebrating as well.
Crowds cheer and laugh and smile, dancing and twirling as the night goes by, the sun rising on a victorious celebration.

One word can make or break a life. One word can encourage or discourage. One word can confirm a soul or deflate a spirit. One word can make all the difference…

By Tami on 09.19.2011
celebrate. celebrate what? does it really matter. i suppose you don’t have to have anything to celebrate to celebrate something.so how about celebrating nothing? you can get the fireworks out, get the cake, have an un-birthday, have a non-wedding day, have an zero year anniversary just to watch some stuff that explodes and stuff that tastes nice. don’t really need a reason.

i think its a very nice way to persuade people to write who fear writing to realise that they can actually and truly write if they make the first step to start writing . So it should be devoted to the habit of writing. Cheers :)

By Corinne on 09.19.2011
Celebrate. This is something usually reserved for special occasions, birthdays, weddings, etc.
But I think you should do it on a daily basis. Celebrate waking up, celebrate breakfast, celebrate success at work, celebrate coming home at night.
Celebration doesn’t have to be just for momentous days, or an end of a journey– instead it can be embraced in the everyday, celebrating life as it happens.

celebrating and grieving , the distance is so far between, but so close in relation that he raised wished his blessing to his queen, or the beauty in the corner whose glass of champagne glistens in delight . It remains an unforeseen prophecy that grievances do and will be left unsaid, my virtue lies with you my man, Why on earth did you spin so much shit????
