  1. the truth is i’m tired of writing about the truth. i am tired of being truthful all the time. it trips me up. when someone asks me if I learned a lot, but i feel like i could have learned more, i hesitate when i answer, which causes the person asking to wonder if i actually did learn what i’d hoped or if i am trying to be nice so she doesn’t feel inadequate.

  2. here is the secret nobody knows:
    i do not love you.

    i want to,
    and i am learning to.

    easier to resuscitate dead hearts
    than warm up cold ones.

and if i end up failing,
    please know

    i have tried to love you;
more than i can say for anyone else.

  3. Truth depends on the context. Sometimes a lie can be the greatest truth of all times. However, truth is not an easy thing to discover. That is why we have all the justice system.

  4. Truth is something people have been looking for, for a very long time. Truth is something that can’t be seen by everyone. by Noelle on 03.19.2013
  8. I try to tell the truth, but sometimes I can’t. Sometimes I can’t because it’s too embarrassing or horrifying. Sometimes I can’t because I just don’t know the truth. The truth feels good. If I can get to it, it feels good, like clean water, like bright, washed air. Like a healthy lung. It feels empty sometimes. Especially if it was embarrassing or horrifying to get to… Because there was a lot of stuff in the way. But then it’s a kind of emptiness you’re thankful for. You’re desperate for… Even though you didn’t necessarily know you were desperate for it until you got it and suddenly saw you weren’t desperate anymore.

  9. Truth is embedded in the theme over the course of the novel. Animal Farm seems to exhibit the very best yet worst kinds of truth that is known to man, er, animal. We as a system might be corrupt enough that we feel powerful and mighty among the weaker humans. What does this have to do with truth? Truth should and could be based on morals. We need to seek out an egalitarian lifestyle and society in order to have truth.

    by Mrs. Simons on 03.19.2013
  10. Now the truth was about to come out. It had stayed so well hidden for so long.
But there was nothing she could do to stop it now. She had been found out.
Life would never be the same again.

    by Wylee on 03.19.2013
  11. Something that not everyone knows, but they often think they do. I can create or destroy it. I can seek it and find it or fall hard trying. I can trust others will bring it to me, and they can, or they can’t. I can never know but He will, and my soul cries out for Him as He is the only thing that is true.

    by Meri on 03.19.2013
  12. It’s okay, whatever happens. Don’t be sad, because this isn’t the end.

  13. truth is an important virtue in life. I believe that truth gives courage. The more you live the word truth, the more you become fearless. Be it in pursuit of your career or behavior. As behavior determines about 80 percent of who you will turn out to be, it’s primarily important.

    by Nilambari on 03.19.2013
  14. The truth is today is my golden birthday. That is right folks on this day, I turn 19 on the 19th of March. Let’s try not to be jealous now. The truth is a birthday is just another day but it’s nice to know you have an excuse for whatever the heck you wanna do today because… today is my birthday.

  15. In all honesty, it’s better here. Over the edge, under the sun (the sun never goes), in the split space of electronic music and blood spatters and fire hair and it’s smoke stacks; it’s better where it’s dark. I like it here, whether it’s real or not.

  16. Truth is a dangerous thing. it exposes you to all sorts of possibilities, some of which you may not like.

Truth is freedom. you dont have to lie if you tell the truth and remembering lies is much harder than remembering the truth about things.

Truth is a gift to teach children – if they learn it then their lives will not be blighted by lies and they will end up happier, if perhaps poorer

  17. The truth is often hidden. Beneath countless misguided tales of false meaning. People hide from it. They often fear it. What is it? It’s often unattainable. You can’t listen to it, because sometimes, it hurts us.

    by Bridgette H. on 03.19.2013
  18. I don’t want you to tell me that you’re telling me anymore. I know you’re not. Because if you were, you wouldn’t be with her.I wouldn’t keep seeing you hold her hand right before you texted me “she’s no one.” She is, and I want the truth. Choose. The truth, or her.

  19. the truth of the matter is that truth is vague. almost—always relative. relating mostly to our senses, experiences, perceptions, blinders and all other things that sway notions one way or the next. there is truth in that truth is forever sought as it is ever-changing.

  20. they say it will set you free. most people run from it,hide it,lie about it or stretch it. everyone i know has never been able to tell the truth when the time came when they needed to. too scared to loose someone or hurt the other person when in reality the TRUTH will in the end prosper. it will help instead of hurt. the hurt is only temporary.

  21. Try to distill it from the dirty lies you told. Do you even have a filter to cap over that ugly mouth of yours. Your beautiful lips, and expert tongue keep producing filth. They’ve ruined everything, polluted the small peaceful pool that was once our relationship.

  23. The thing about truth is its subjective. People don’t know truth until they lie. Lying is the worst thing a person can do to the one they love. Who knows if lying is an ultimate sin but it is very wrong indeed. If you hurt those closest to you, you break a promise to yourself and compromise your own happiness.

    by Lemonworld on 03.19.2013

  27. The truth was that I never knew when to stop. So I didn’t stop. I kept going, kept going, kept going on the tracks until I reached the other side. When I reached the other side, I knew that my friends would hate me forever. I had crossed the line. I had gone from Enchantment to Darkness. But that was not a thing anymore. It was never a thing, but I did it anyway for my own sanity.

  28. It’s painful. There is nothing more painful than having a truth that you don’t want to hear. It’s necessary though, to really get through life. There are many things you don’t wish to know, many things you don’t want to hear. But you have to, in order to learn, to grow, to be who you’re meant to be. Never mind that you have to find it amidst all the lies.

  29. a simple 5 lettered word, but as deep as ocean and as wide as sky
it means life. not necessary one should know it, but if known then cant be denied.
accept it by hook or crook.
about truth, ignorance is bliss but at the same time knowledge is power.
it can be a boon and a curse, it all depends on the time.
truth can be the synonym for time.
because time is truth, and truth needs time.
seems complicated but think about it..!
