This moment right here made it all worthwhile. All the pain, all the suffering, all the torturous waiting…
I realized that I would have endured it all over again if it meant I got to walk down that isle.
I looked up at his smiling face, waiting, waiting waiting….
But not for much longer.
The pen nearly slipped from my cold, groggy hands. The baby was beginning to stir and cry in his crib. I gripped the pen firmer, resolved, and began to write. For only a minute could I express this thought onto the paper before returning to my duties, but it was all I needed.
My parents left us alone when we were children. They were never around for us, never there to see us grow. We were only put on this earth for one thing and that was income. Income to buy whatever they needed to feed their addiction. One week it was heroin, another it was cocaine. But, I guess that was their reason to live, their worthwhile.
Nothing is worthwhile for me here, all it is is coming and going. I am never truly living; I’m just being and stuck in a routine.
Let’s run away, somewhere not near. We’ll build a new life and have new adventures, maybe then we can find something worthwhile.
Your faith in God and Jesus. Your sister and your brothers. Hanging out with family and laughing so hard you can’t breathe. Taking selfies and happiness. Singing and writing songs. Your pets and travelling. Talking to God and Jesus and Grandma and Grandpa.
The wait had been worthwhile. She stood there clad in a pair of black slacks, a white blouse, and a pair of black heels (a barista’s outfit)? They felt the power surging through her, around her as she shielded them from the blast. Her hair had been shoulder length, brown spiral curls, and now she was a little less demure; he almost didn’t recognize her short cropped, curly hair, but the feeling was all her. It was a welcome feeling, being able to see her again, and he felt the arms of the flame and return, this time burning so hard and bright that even he could barely believe.
getting out of bed and starting the day seemed like such a drag but now that I’ve gotten a grip on things it all seems worthwhile to me now days. making that bold decision to go for it and make that change or take that chance in life will all seem worthwhile in the end
There are days that I just want to think why I was worthwhile and why everyone wants to spend time with me? Only to find out that I was getting stabbed in the back and my heart was breaking… No matter what I try to do I am never good enough. It has been very difficult to breathe in the last few days and i just want the pain to go away. I have never had the difficulties of feeling like this but I hope that no matter what happens, i will be worthwhile to somebody! And when that day comes, I am never letting go!! Not ever. I just want to be worth someone’s time and not played like I was and never have to deal with the heart ache. But I do so what difference does it make? Not a thing! Oh well, its life. Worthwhile is what I need and it is what I am going to get! Even if I have to wait a million years for it to happen, I will! Just remember me when you want to have that meaningful life.
What makes your day worthwhile? Is it the satisfaction of getting praised and recognized for your accomplishments that day? Is it knowing that you did your very best on everything you did that day? Or is it just getting everything accomplished that you wanted to, making it a day worth living but not really a day worth praising? I think that is is the third option. Most days are like that, You get things done that you need to get done, making it feel like that day was worthy of being lived. But to me, worthwhile doesn’t really make me think of anything good. It makes me think of monotonous, boring days.
What in this world is worthwhile? is it the trophies you get for participating in little league baseball? is it the prized job that tortured brain in college? What’s worthwhile in this world? Honestly, I have no idea. The word “worthwhile” itself makes a person assume that some short of grand prize at the end. That “worthwile” thing is the very thing that motivates you. If you don’t know what is worthwhile, than how can continue. If their is no prize, why do you do what you do? We all accept things in our lives, but do we deserve them?
It’s the backbone of everything I hope to do. Worthwhile. a Worthwhile life. A worthwhile lifesong. It’s what I’ve wanted from girlhood. To be worthwhile to a boy. To a man. To a cause. To a class. To the teacher. To time–the teacher’s time, the boy’s time, the worthwhile cause. Worthy. It’s the reason I chose only the things I really wanted and really wanted to do. Perhaps because I wanted to be what someone *really* wanted. To be worthy of the battle, too. The worthwhile fights. Time feels wasted unless it’s spent doing being pursuing caring for loving the unworthy. So unworthy is worthy, too. And waiting. Waiting while God does His work making me realize all the worth inside “awhile” or a “longtime” or lifetime.
Hanging out with friends is very worthwhile. Being with your family is also worthwhile. Meaning you have fun with this people it’s worth your time. It’s not all for nothing while being with your family and friends it means something. it means a lot while hanging out with your family because thats the only family your gonna have to be with the rest of your life. they are the only one’s that are gonna be there for you in the long run, your friends aren’t always gonna be there.
Time. It’s the most valuable thing that doesn’t exist. It’s the original counter. It’s how many breaths we’ve taken. How far we’ve come. What we’ve shared. It’s what we are. It’s worthwhile to remember how important our time is.

You are forced to pick a career by 18 but you are forced to wait until 21. How are we to live a worthwhile life with such horrible ways? How are we to live how we want if they hold us back? How are we to do what we want, if we can’t do anything?

Everything in your life should be worthwhile. Winston C. once said ” No hour of life spent in the saddle is wasted.” Horses are my passion, so that is what I live by. If you are doing what you love, it was worth your time. For all of those who say it will be a waste of time, they are wasting their breath telling it to you. Especially since you are going to do it anyway. Just remember, IT WAS WORTH IT.
the heater went out in the truck so we went to a place in robinson to have it fixed. When we got it back on our way home we realized that the air coming from the vents wold be hot and then cold and i would just alternate back and forth,so therefore the heater fix was not a worthwhile fix.

“Oh, don’t worry. It’ll be worth your time.” Her face grew warm as she leaned in toward his lips and kissed him passionately. As the seconds passed, her mind fluttered with the thoughts of her next actions. The knife behind her back would be her release.

He completely forgot today was the day they were suppose to film his part for their sponsor video, the whole crew decided they should spot the 8-stair down the old post office at 15th ave. corner 9th street and 8th. Rodney did a fakie big heel and landed it clean on the 6th try, Jagnus was focused to finally land that double hardflip he’s desperately trying three days ago but frustratingly bailed out and called it a day because his ankles can’t take the abuse no more.
Four gatorades and two red bulls after; it was already his turn, and even though all that hydrating and juicing up really didn’t do anything to shed his hangover, he still went with doing some few tricks and landed a clean impossible late flip on the third try. He was beyond stoked that he thought he nailed it until the filmer said he f*cked up and he didn’t recorded it on tape because the batteries went dead.
To be fair, to me, to him, how could you say that something is worthwhile and something else isn’t? It’s essentially down to perception. That’s how we ended up with a priceless heirloom forked over to St. Vincent’s along with a stack of unread paperbacks and a pair of shoes that didn’t quite fit, while he stared helplessly at a €12.50 china teapot from Penneys.
Worthwhile, turnstile, phrased to turn, turn, turn, ain’t nothing but a handful of change. A quarter here, dimes and nickles there, all spent chasing pennies everywhere, maybe even earn that praise, lift those palms, ask for the raise. Because it all counts, isn’t that what you’re told, squeaky wheel gets the attention, all press is good press, even when it’s bad it’s free…so while they run the race: turnstile, hurdle, turnstile, hurdle, climb ladder, reach reward, turnstile, hurdle, turnstile, hurdle, turnstile hurdle, wash, rinse, repeat, enter the maze, leave maze, never really solve maze, I dreamed of the abyss that suffocates all, even fear. But that was a year ago, when I woke up to it trying to hold fast, like sinking mud in a riverbed overflowing with quick currents. Held my breath, held my tongue, forced myself awake and changed once the emptiness begged off.
Worth what is put into what ever the object is, the timing is valuable. It is commonly utilized in a positive manner. It inspires people at times to accomplish certain tasks. It is a word I am in favor of.
I’ve been working so hard at this for years, and I never seem to be good enough. It’s been killing my soul so much that I had to take a step back. I just didn’t see how I could keep deluding myself into thinking I would ever reach my goals. It’s been a year of learning, of growth, and I find myself becoming more of the artist I always saw myself to be. I will probably never be good enough, but creating beauty for beauty’s sake has to be it’s own reward.
It is worthwhile to tell the truth. Not this long drawn out half truths and lies. It is worth it to me to look in your beautiful eyes and not have to second guess.
What everyone longs to feel. To feel worthwhile, a person must be worthwhile. To be worthwhile, we must know how to live. To know how to live means, we must know our Maker. And when we fall short, we shall need His forgiveness to stay in a relationship with Him. Thank you, Jesus.
