  1. Luxury. It’s a word that Could mean different things. Like one man’s trash is another man’s gold, it could be the same way for luxury. Kids see luxury as sweets and chocolates but adults see it as money.

  2. There is a luxury to wander
    across sacred land
    to pass by dwelling woods
    and cross slumbering meadows
there is a luxury to resort to
    ancient seas and lakes
    ascend luscious hills
    to find your precious wake

  3. I was in great luxury as I sat in my fur covered chair in my golden living room in my chocolate house in my beautiful green lawn in my wonderful world.

  4. She held the luxury ring between her fingers. It had once meant a lot to her, now it might as well had been a piece of dust. It had all changed in only twenty-four hours.

  6. Luxury was something the boy never had. He’d lived the first half of his life cramped in a shitty orphanage and the next half on the streets, hiding from social services and struggling to live.

  8. She grew up too quickly having babies and ultimately raising them on her own. Love to her was a luxury, and something she was still waiting to find.

  9. Health is not a right, but a luxury. Anything beyond good health is asking for too much, apparently. It seems like all we have time for is work and suffering. But what about play? What about physical activity as an enjoyable form of exercise? It’s our responsibility to maintain our good health, but we’re discouraged from taking time for ourselves. What is this madness?

  10. “I live in Luxury.” She stared down at the man on the bed. “And you are part of that.” He smile at her in return. She was a bit promiscuous in her ways, but she did have the money she claimed. The fact that he had only just met her meant that she was open to new things. It was sad that he was going to have to kill her when this was all over.

  11. Luxury is having more than 60 seconds to write about luxury.

  12. i need it i need it i need
    something
so what if i’m empty so what who can tell
    with all this outer glory
my home is full my hands are full
my head is full and my heart is
    not
    outer glory
    inner nothing

  13. Only if I had the luxury to travel the world like those tourist that I see traversing our land daily. It is not impossible I know, but I will have to be more focus and save for that occasion.

  14. i need it i need it i need it i need

  16. Matheson’s voice rose an octave; “You can’t threaten me!” he screamed. Doyle remained emotionless. “I really do have your best interests at heart!” he reassured the Senator. “If this story ever sees the light of day, you would face a very difficult battle in the election next November, You can choose to bow out now and keep your reputation intact, but you will not have the luxury of that option for very much longer. Every single day you wait, increases the risk you face of losing everything.”Matheson was silent for a few seconds, then started mumbling and stuttering. Doyle knew he had been broken.

  17. She was excited to board, it was one that she had never been on before. The luxury of the 787 was an exciting experience. She was anticipating…the countdown in her head was ticking slowly.

  18. He lived in luxury. Anything he wanted, he got. Cars, horses, PC’s, a big screen TV in every room. But one thing he lacked, and that was happiness. Next door there was a girl. She didn’t live in luxury. But she had happiness, and that was all she needed.

  19. all of us dream about it, we are working hard and spend all of our life to life surrounded with luxury. but I am asking what is the luxury for us? is it hapinness? I don´t realy think so. we are actually loosing real points of our lives

  20. she grew up in the lap of luxury, privileged and unburdened with the weight and worries of the middle class. to her, sustenance is a relative concept..

  21. the fancy leather couches circled around fine-marble gloss desks,
mustard orange galor, inside of midnight navy shades, twisting–
nose hairs and fiddling with bumpkin smirks.

  22. what a luxury it must be to be able to remember your childhood. My memories appear to me in shattered bits and pieces, flying around messily. i can barely remember that i was molested when i was younger. it had to be when i was around 7. I thought it was younger, but i wasn’t in that house yet. sometimes i wonder if i’m wrong. maybe i’m remembering a story or a movie. maybe i’m making it up. but i don’t think that’s true. i just wish that i could remember every dirty and gritty detail, maybe then i could be explained.

  23. A hot bath was his definition of a luxury; this overwhelming pile of stuffed animals was not. How could anyone afford to just throw their money away on something as frivolous and unnecessary as this? James was slowly regretting his hastily made decision to mentor the Buxtabautons. The family was ridiculously rich and had no sense of moderation. He knew that wealth was distributed unfairly, but this was grotesque. Absolutely shameful. James slowly made his way back to the entrance and grabbed his rucksack that he had dropped earlier in shock. Staying with the Buxtabautons would be a constant reminder that there were those that lived comfortably in luxury while his little sister was stuck living off of scraps. He left the manor and made his way back to the desolation, never once looking back.

  24. lay it out in lines up on lines, draw the pile of silk, the furred edge of glory, the simple lines of clean design, a shot of color to accent, the shine of gold to stun

  25. Mental health is a luxury. One afforded by class, by racial privilege, by the gift of a family that somehow doesn’t screw you up so bad by the time you’re an adult you don’t even know what normal feels like. It’s a luxury to be able to break down and know this time won’t be the last.

  26. It was his job to ensure that George Stringent was able to live in the most luxurious way possible, exactly as it was before his parents were murdered by the Seat. It was absolutely vital that this was carried out to a T, because if it did not happen exactly as She said it should, then they would all go exactly the same way as George’s parents: in a pit of fiery revenge.

  27. Isn’t it funny what luxury means to different people. To some it’s an Apple iPad…to others it’s food…

  28. Having been a millonare in his past life, he knew how it felt to have everything you could ever want. That’s all he wanted to have back, the luxery life. He had it and then he lost it within seconds and it was all her fault.

  29. He had never lived a life of luxury and didnt eveen know they made beds this soft. It felt like cool silk across his skin and he relaxed into the feeling . It had taken him and his compqnion a long time to make it to this manor and he was glad they made the trip even if they had to fight a couple of trolls on ttheir joufney. He sighed once again into the divine sheets breathing in the scent of berries and lavender.

He called out go his partner in crime who was currently bathing himeself in the room over. “Where in oblivion did you hear about this place”.

  30. He sat at the top of the hill. No one was around. He yelled, but the sounds could not penetrate the castle walls. He sat atop his riches in solitude. What good is it to be drowning in luxury when one is all alone.

  32. The woman sat, looking around her at the luxury that she had been raised in and wondered, “does any of this matter?”. As she took one last look around, she sighed and closed the door to that world.

  33. I didn’t have the luxury of going to a house where I didn’t feel judged, or unwanted. The air of my parents’ residence was pungent with the smell of evangelism, something that reeked everywhere from my room to the kitchen, masking the otherwise pleasant aroma of roast chicken with red potatoes. I stayed away from my family for the most part, not wanting to listen to my mom’s bible study with her friends, or my dad’s diatribes at the dinner table about how America was being lost to sinners and whores.

  34. Well isn’t that the perfect word for the day after engaging in a conversation with my boyfriend about how pretentious he thinks I am. You know, I don’t see anything wrong with liking the finer things in life and I’m not going to apologise for it. I’m classy goddammit. Not pretentious.

  35. Luxury. It was something she’d had a few times in her lifetime and she’d admit that it was nice. VERY nice, but she was content with having only what was needed. He, on the other hand, hated not having more than what he needed. He was a materialist; a hardcore one..

  36. I walked into the hotel suite. Everything inside looked priceless, flawless. I didn’t want to touch anything in fear of destroying the beauty
Everything was pristine. It had its place and I respected that.
“so this is what being rich is like?” I questioned my friend to the right of me. He had a cheeky grin plastered on his face.
“this is what living in luxury is like my friend” he replied

  37. Slinkying silks on sashying divas with disco hair and lights glimmering above in chandeliers. Dance, dance, dance. We crave meaning. We long to fill the holes in our hearts. We cradle ourselves in pillows of the best things, with tassels, whatever it takes to make it look like we’re rich. And maybe we are. But luxury is all in perspective.

  38. if I had the luxury – I’d spend it with you – you always have reminded me of luxury – I begin to trust life again I never feel like giving up again.

  39. When I was a teenager luxury cars were appealing. Everyone wanted one! I remember singing songs about Mercedes Benz and having friends who owned beamers. If it couldn’t be a luxury car then a less expensive sporty looking car would do. It wasn’t about status symbols.

  40. luxury. it’s hard to write about something you have no interest in. I guess that’s the point. living in dubai was luxurious though it did not bring happiness. are the two always supposed to be intertwined? I suppose not.
