  1. I remember us that summer, entwined in a kiss, I still hold the memory of him. First love is deepest after all. Today’s his birthday. I try to glue my smile on my face, but I realize tears won’t work. Today is his birthday. I grab a sweater, because I know he doesn’t want me to be cold. Today is his birthday. I walk briskly to the park, where he is waiting for me. “Today was your birthday.” I say to him, trying to keep the tears in. I leave him flowers, and vow to come again. After all, he’ll always be there.

  2. Somewhere in the post-midnight wilderness lay the wreckage of a lover’s tryst, spontaneous and spectacular, entwined so tightly that only daylight will divide it.

  3. Their legs entwine as they sit by their lockers. Eating last nights left overs. The other one, the left over, the third, stares at their tangled legs, and wishes that her legs were tangled with his, the second. It’s rude, but the third, well she wishes that the first, the girl, wasn’t even here. That it was just her, the third, entwined with him, the second.

  4. We were so entwined. Each aspect of our lives, bound with a tight knot. I never dreamed the ropes of us could become so loose that they just fell apart. Entwined was how I always described us.

  5. They entwined their fingers together. He smiled at her, and she grinned back. They felt inseperable at that moment.
To think that a few minutes earlier he was bashing her in his head for being so close to Jaiden

  9. Fred was twenty feet tall and his legs were as thin as string. His legs had somehow become entwined in a tree. “Why does this always happen to me?” asked Fred, as he untangled his legs and swayed away on them.

  10. Emotions, forever I am entwined. Never ending depression and anxiety, no matter how hard I try. Constantly tripping over the vines of my own mind. I am trapped in a forest of regret and I can’t get out.

  13. There are answers in a prayer, wrapped together to form one thing out of two — yes, it has been heard, and no, you will not get it. Yes, there is pain, and, no, it is not pointless. Yes, dreams come true, and no, you do not get them free of charge. We walk through this time, aiming at the future, solely grounded on where we’ve come from. Yet, to be here, in this moment, our past and future lives entwined, this is the blessing I’ve asked for and always received.
