  1. The curtains in the hallway were the only things hiding the glorious day that the Universe had presented to us. Allhe had to do was lift his hand and pull the fabric back to get a dose of Vitamin D and goodness.

  2. Something stirred outside. It made enough of a grumble to rattle the windows. The curtains quiver gently… but the sound becomes a low throttle. As much as I want to ignore whatever threat looms on the other side, my curiosity gets the best of me.

  3. THEY R OF MANY TYPES USED TO DECORATE THE HOUSE BUT ALSO TO GET A PRIVACY FROM OTHERS THE CURTAINS CAN BE SIMPLE AND NEAT THAT BEING FANCY AND COSTLY

  4. Block out the world. I can’t face it today. Leave me here in the darkness, hiding from reality. The simplicity of my seclusion. It’s crazy really. A piece of material; made in China. This fabric is shielding me from acknowledging what’s real. What’s inevitable. Thank you, curtains.

  5. Curtains add color to a room. They also hide us from the world outside our window. They can let light in or keep it out. i like them to keep the light out so i can sleep better.

  7. Luckily her room was at the back of the house and had few windows. The day she had? Only sleep would help. She drew the thick curtains and settled in to her bed. The fall weather had cooled the sheets and she shivered as she pulled the comforter up to her chin. Her head nestled into the pillow and as she drifted off, there was a sharp knock on the front door.

  15. The velvety red curtains ring the window, in which i look out in despair and longing. Although its interior is nice and plush, the shade of dark red blood cools the air. Stone walls lock me into this castle, in where I have sat for years. Save me my prince, where have you been?

  16. ONE DAY A MAN NAMED JOE BOUGHT SOME CURTAINS. THE CURTAINS WERE PURPLE WITH GREEN SPOTS! AND JOES CAT MISSY WOULD TRY TO TACKLE THE CURTAINS AND RIP THEM.

  21. With a smile plastered on her face like dried paint spackle, she raised her hands in the air as if she’d accomplished something. Inside, she felt empty and faker than a two-headed coin. Her co-star was already bowing like a man who’d just delivered Tony-worthy performance. ‘1-2-3-4,’ she counted in her head as she waited for her last curtain to fall.

  22. Bloodied drapes thick upon white windows – the shade of rich, rich wine. The tossed pathetic in the evening storm, clouds drowning the skies so recently blue. Scars of lightning etched the sky, and he waited – watching, and eternal sentry behind the dark, dark drapes.

  23. The dark cloth flowed past in breaths of inked darkness – rough, red shades so bright and bloodied. The night shone behind the cloth drapes, sparkling with glitters of bright stars – as if daring you to go outside, past the window and into the night.

  24. the curtains werent long enough—they just werent. she could do nothing but stare along the bottom of them—at the uncovered space. it was all she saw—all she could see. the half empty. its the way her mind worked—-spitintg arm for finger. she was extreme in that way. it was beautiful. it was a disaster.

  25. Her curtains were drawn, but as she opened them to the morning sun the morning rays caught the crystals that hung in her window which put hundreds of rainbows throughout her room.

  26. The curtains fell and shuttered out the light. She refused to get out of bed. The day was insurmountable, every task that needed doing not worthwhile. A burden was crushing her and she felt perfectly content to lie underneath and let it obliterate her.

  27. curtains are almost a thing of the past. I have blinds on my top two levels of my house but one curtain in the rec room. I also use a curtain as a table cloth on my long craftroom table and love it as a table cloth.

  29. As the world around us crumbles,
    Where religion has become macabre,
    Where dominance is the key,
    The two options we have
    are fight or flight,
    We chose this.
    We live with guilt,
    With shame and fear,
    And day by day,
    this eats our flesh.
    This tears us apart,
    Our humble abode,
    An escape from brutality,
    We draw the curtain.

  30. She told me to go buy enough material to make curtains, but why should I buy curtains I could use that fabric for so many other things, including a sail for a ship, a parachute. Many other things that aren’t boring like curtains. Who even looks at those things.

    staring into the blackness
    fall
    fall and hide me, us
    the madness that is
    pushing through
    no longer
    hiding its grotesque face.

  33. She stood and, drawing the curtains aside to let the first drops of sunlight drift lazily into the room, stared out at the valley that, until last night, she’d thought would be her only home. She’d dreamed of leaving, of course, of travel, of adventure. But now, with the thoughts of her impeding departure so fresh, so alien, in her mind, it was hard to imagine truly leaving it behind.

  34. Curtains block us from viewing the ratchet world outside. It helps us seclude ourselves and help us get intouch with our inner selves. Curtains Help the sun rays from hitting your face.

  36. The curtians blew through the open window.May looked down, a tear streamed down her face. ‘i missed you so much’. Henry smiled and embraced May. The embrace was cold and May shivered. ‘You should come with me’, May shivered once again but not because of the cold.
