The mutiny played out but after they had seized the student council’s power, they realized that they didn’t really have any and so they didn’t really see the point of having one at all.

The council of light could not forget their past discrepencies. How could they, when it festered and boiled in the backs of each one of their minds? How could they live with this?

During the meeting with the council, Edward yelled. He insisted that he was not supposed to be blamed for this. Why would the people accuse him of this silly inhuman crime?People are heartless

“The council will meet tomorrow for the proclamation of the Tomorrows visit. The last thing we need is an unsteady community. We will stabilize the barriers and protect our citizens from the defiance. If force is your only way of success, use it. Protect us with your life.” speaks our leader. The Tomorrows, also known as our biggest rebel group, want to discuss “problems” with the our council. Last time they came past the barriers we lost thirteen men. We do not wish for death; we wish for the cure that we know they have. I fear they will hold us in their clasp until we destroy ourselves. Wish us the best.
The council looked down on her. She was careful to hold a straight face, but she was scared. She knew they were judging her harshly and she had absolutely no idea what the outcome could possibly be. She only knew that she had done what was right, despite what the law was. She had saved her little sister, the only person who had ever mattered to her. But she had broken the strictest of laws in doing so.
The birds sat in a circle, they looked like they were having a council meeting. They looked stern, like they were deciding something serious. In fact, one of them had seen a worm and the others came to investigate. They were waiting for more to emerge but they didn’t decide who was the most likely beneficiary of such a worm; they all lost their high ideals and went for the worm, all at once.

I work for the International Code Council, which used to be International Conference of Building Officials. I’ve been there for 18 years, since May 19, 1997. I’ve enjoyed working there for so long. Is this supposed to be a fiction story though? I’ve never written like this before, with a prompt and time limit. I’m certainly not a writer anyway. But it seems like an interesting activity. Maybe tomorrow I will be more creative…we can always hope!
By the time the Council had finished speaking, Arvey could feel the bristling hairs on her neck begin to relax, settling back down against her sweat-moistened nape. Beside her, Barkelee squeezed her hand. Behind her, she could feel Quinoni’s fingers massaging her shoulders. It was true that Mistress Kor, wherever she was now, would be held accountable for whatever heinous acts she committed; at least, however, the three of them had been declared innocent.
