I don’t think I’m very clever. I know other people, like my mother, that seem to be very clever. She can come up with clever comments on about any subject. Not me. I have to think about things for a while before I ever come up with something clever. My sister is also someone who appears to be quick witted.

So clever with your language and subtle gestures suggesting an entirely different idea than what your words relay. Why is it you’re so crafty, and why can’t you say outright what you mean?
