  5. Vultures are an essential part of the ecosystem, helping to dispose of carcasses that would otherwise spread disease and increase the insect population. They have become highly adapted to their food source, losing the feathers on their heads in order to prevent matting from the blood of their food. They have extremely sharp hooked beaks good for tearing through tough hide and ligaments. They represent some of the largest birds in the world, including the giant condor.

  12. Vulture is like a bird that is really rude and if the bird is going to come after your death then they’re like the angel of death. Except for the fact that a Vulture isn’t pretty no matter if the bird is male or female. Normally the males are pretty birds just because they have to attract the less than average females. Lucky them. Humans are so different in that regard. Very. John Mayer also has a song by this title.

  27. swoops inwards and kind of looks like my teacher. I don’t know why, cause she also reminds me of a turtle and they’re not really similar. vultures eat worms, and worms eat poo, so vultures also eat poo i guess. though i suppose pigs eat sloppy shit from a trough, and we eat pigs so i guess we also eat sloppy shit from a trough. I don’t know why that’s got anything to do with vultures.

  35. Vultures are large birds that feed on dead animals. They are migratory arriving in the spring and leaving the area before winter sets in. The vultures of our area are large birds that compare in size to eagles or hawks. In other areas vultures grow to be much larger. I have seen vultures up close, and they are ugly creatures. They often have a foul odor because of their diet. Vultures can be used to locate dead creatures that are missing. Cattle owners use them to locate lost stock.

  37. It’s a carrion pigeon, picking away at the flesh and bones of those stranded in the desert under the hot, hot sun. It’s bald, and evil, and unforgiving like a bad politician. There aren’t many good things to say about vultures except how well-designed they are for their environment.
