I need to get it all out of my head
and I need it to be as quick as water
becomes vapor with uncertainty,
about its decision
but I don’t want to know about it
I don’t want to talk about it
I just want it out, out of my head

Water vapour seeps through my teeth like water through open fingers. Frost caresses the glass panes, collecting like mould, like old water.

All this vapor in the air is making things a little wet. Lets see if we cant do something to fix that. Honey turn down the a/c and turn the fan on oscillate. I only want the breeze coming at

A little wisp of vapor climbing higher and higher reaching for the stars seeking to rise above the minutiae of life. Flowing free just happy to be.

The winter was tough. Ice, snow and you walked around breathing vapor that fogged up the car and buildings. We were all steaming with faces burning red and hands that tingled.

Today was the day, the big day, the biggest day in his life he would final finish what is was he wanted to achieve. But as he crossed the road it all disappeared into a vapor.

why are the things that are always intangible
the ones that scream to be touched?
when i near the end of my life
and i see you holding my hand
i will take a breath and pop
into billions of bits of me
i’ll float on the air, fall into the pockets
go through a cigarrette or three
and i will still exist, still living
but it’ll be the freest kind of free.

The vapors rising from the goblet shimmied and shimmered, in a seductive dance that seemed to whisper: “drink me.”

The smell of gas was strong and it came from the direction of the kitchen. The vapor was getting stronger, and we knock out some windows to make our excape before the house went up in flames.

Oh dear. The vapors. A lady doesn’t fart. She poots. She suffers the vapors. Most often a lady suffers the vapors of her companion.

Water vapor is the mist you get over boiling water, the thing that condenses on glass, leaving it steamy, or if frozen, iced. You could also be vaporized, everything in your being turning to atoms and becoming non-existent. Lovely, huh?

I remember reading books where the ladies many years ago used to get a touch of the vapors! not sure what that really meant. Of course there is always vapour as in steam etc. Vaporise, disappear.

i flatter myself by thinking i imagined you
out of nothing,
made you come to life
with the power of my desire.
i will never do you such a disservice again.
(you’ve made me an atheist,
no sentient being would have had the guts
to create you.)

The motorcycle rattled to a stop, and she had hardly taken off her helmet before she was grabbling tools out of the sidecar. A vapor rose from the stagnant water in front of her. She assembled the tubes, hung the contraption over the pool, and sucked in as much of the vapor as she could.
I hate this part of the job, she thought. But what she harvested today, would be on the secret shelves of pubs around the world in a month—changing lives, influencing decisions—and all because of a sulfurous, horrid-smelling gas collected only in the swamps.

There was a fragrent vapor around me, soft and inviting and ominous, all at once. In the semi-darkness I felt it as much as saw it, damp against my skin. What was it? Why was it calling to me? How was that even possible? I felt confused and light-headed when I looked up and saw a stunningly beautiful man standing in the doorway, smiling. I knew I was in trouble.

The vapor was high in the air over the mountain, heavy sun and last winters snow ran down into the town like a dense fog. The summer heat melting the winters sky-slope, running downhill like water on the ice.

The vapor ran down like water snow from the mountain top melting in the heavy summer sun. Like a fog it rolled to the town, droplets of coolness welcome in July.

His breath left a sticky sweet vapour in the air as he turned away and left the room. I sank down onto the floow, holding onto the note he had left behind him.
‘It didn’t work out. With you or her. I think I’m better left alone. Sorry.’

” Oy, the vapors ! ” She almost chokes every time Kevin belches. This usually happens after they eat at the taco truck on Rose Ave. Four hours later and every time he belches, it smells like putrid albondigas, absolutely dee-scusting , and she’s thinking of spending the night alone: anything is better than making out with a belcher.

Just Breathe. I just have to breathe

The water vapor on the car windshield was soon brushed off by the wipers. As she looked out at the sky through the window she wished it had not happened like this.

i traced the word with the stiff end of my fingertip, the air that i exhaled mirrored it. A misting, lost vapor.
