Look at it, mocking me with its alluring lengths, all coiled up in a ball like that, ready to roll away the second I pounce. I wish I could resist its siren song, just once to walk away and not make a fool of myself. But alas, I cannot. I feel my hind legs tense, I center the ball of twine and spring into action…
Simple. We’ll go to the yard shed, pull out some wooden stakes leftover from the garden work. I’ll take them into the house along with the balled twine, while you fish the scissors out of the utility drawer. Get a hammer, maybe a drill for the stubborn surfaces. THEN. EVERYTHING. DIVIDED.
