  2. He couldn’t blame her for being suspicious. He’d been dogging her for months about knowing her secret, and now he would have to step up to the plate and admit it. She would kill him, maybe. Or else make him disappear, trick him into feeling safe, and send some brutish men after him with loaded guns and saran wrap. Somehow he found himself anticipating her challenge.

  3. If I were to be murdered, I know who the suspects would be.
Deep down in my heart, I truly know a few people who honestly hate me with such a fiery passion that it would be nothing for them to lift that knife, throw that punch, pull that trigger.
But even deeper down in my heart I know, that if anything were to kill me, it would be my guilt.

  4. The suspects were walking around the dark, desolate room, awaiting their fate. Hawthorne and Westy were contempalting their innocence, but it didnt seem good for little old Mr. Snaperty. He was not only at the scene of the crime, but he was holding a knife. Why? he doesnt know. How? He has no clue. Just one word is resounding in his head: I did it.

  5. Sherlock had spun on his heel and came bursting through the doors of the interview room. “Useless” he spat.
John sighed. He really did feel sorry for the poor buggers who had to deal with the consulting detective’s questions and inquiries. I mean, he was usually under the scrutiny of those icy blue eyes since he came to live in 221B.
But Moriarty had left no ties. They both knew that. And that’s what was frustrating his flatmate. It was probably going to be another night of ‘the consulting sulk’ in his dressing gown on the sofa. He remained optimistic it would only last a short duration.

  6. They stood in a line in front of us. “It’s simple Mrs. Johnson. Just pick the man who killed your son.” She stood wide eyed for a moment before she lifted a shaking finger and pointed.
    “H-him. That one.”

    by AmyAmy on 07.20.2012
  7. She didn’t know what to make of them. 4 men, ranging from small and Dannie Devito-esque to a tall, brutal looking man with a scar on his face. Which one knew where her son was? And what were the others here for? They were all suspects in their own right, after all.

    by Chelsea Bradley on 07.20.2012
  8. She suspects that once her friend arrives, she will no longer have creative juice, as if she had it to begin with. The idea spun in her mind like a ballerina, so full of life and pristine in its efforts, yet always struggling to find its way in the world. And so she kept it there, sitting dormantly, sitting every single day without any new progress, and thought that maybe she could find a way to write another chapter without any regret or second guessing.

  9. She suspects that his phone must be dead. Why else would he not respond to her teasing, tempting ‘sext’ messages? Typically, even if he’s in the office, she gets a hasty response… filled with typos and poor grammar. But always a reply.

How did couples manage waiting weeks or months for letters?!
