  2. On the subway i try my best to find a candidate for a staring contest. Most people are not candidates but if i’m lucky I find one fit enough to compete with me. If i’m extra lucky it’s a beautiful man or woman that will get off with me at the next stop to get a cup of coffee and cigarette with me as well.

  3. I rode the subway, avoiding touching anything. I didn’t like the thought that people whom were sick sneezed or coughed into their hand, and then pressed their palms against the windows, or grabbed onto the handlebars to try to avoid falling face first into the germaphobe in front of them.

  4. There is this moving tunnel, and it’s nota tube of darkness, but a moving one. One moving towards the lght. And we don’t move ourselves, but the wheels move us, the darkness moves us and we wait together, seated in metal cold seats and tetanous-prone rails, We are aware of the dark, but we are more aware of the light,t he light we look forawrad to, the light at the end of the tunnel.

  6. I want to live in a city with a subway system. My only experience on public transit is that the hobos will look at you funny if you’re in a formal gown and heels boarding the tram. *sigh*

    by Camille on 04.15.2010
  7. I imagine if I had met you in a subway.
    It wouldn’t have mattered
If I was squished between a fat emo kid glaring at me
Or a smelly old perv looking down my blouse

    Because I had found you.

I have never been in a subway

    But I do have you.

    So thats all that counts.

  8. I went on the subway in New York. I remember it well. The train was covered in graffiti. I was surprised. The train was really shabby. Three Chinese guys were looking at me, amused. I almost said something.

  10. gross. it’s absolutely nasty. i’ve heard bad stories about what goes on there and can never eat there again. not that it matters most of their food sucks anyway. its not different than anything you can make at your house, and making it at home will be a lot more sanitary and inexpensive. trust me. you’ll thank me later. i promise.

    Country
    Change
    NEW YORK
    OUT OF THIS WORLD
Everything can change depending on how you decide to eat it, move it, see it or even be there for it.
Just to be there to see it would be a mile stone for me
Eating it just makes me feel like a king.

  18. the food, its always really good, i like when the toast the bread but sometimes it burns the roof of my mouth, then there is the train, its always smelly and sometimes i think the people don’t clean it too often, but it scares me cuz of all those horror movies where people get attacked and then taken and the lights go off and everyone screams.

  19. Down through the subways, deep into the gut of the city,
The noise so loud, the wind is wipping as each one pass by,
The children are laughing but their voices unheard,
As the subway drains out all conscious spoken words.

  20. a subway sandwich, where you can pick as many different fillings as you’d like and get it all in one bun. yummy. the choice is so big, so whatever you fancy you can just get it all in one sandwich. i’m a fan of cheese, so i usually get a cheese based subway. YUM.

  21. In New York many people travel on it it is also the name of a restaurant that sells subs. they have five dollar foot longs that apparently help you lose a lot of weight. i have had the meatball one before and it is my favorite.

  24. I think back to that subway station when we went to New York together. Late at night, soaking wet, freezing. We had just stopped by some random convenience store and split a pair of socks, which were big on both of us.
It was a night we fell alive.

  25. “I’m a subway,” the Subway yelled. “Get outta my waiiiii!”

So the subway smashed through the barricade and did a backflip and landed. He then met no other then his arch-nemesis, the bus.

“WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?” The buss yelled, angrily. “YOU JUST CAN’T GO DOING ST-“

The bus never got to finish though because the subway pulled out his AK-47 and shot him dead.

Cops surrounded him from all directions. This was exactly what Subway wanted. He made a phony motion like he was pulling for a bomb or something and then the cops shot him dead.

Suicide by police was what he had always wanted.

  26. I take the subway to go places I am currently not. Sounds simple huh? Consider I live in a city that has no subway amd you can see my dilema. I have to traval (by car) a fairly longway to get to a subway. Washington DC is perhaps the closest unless you consider the Subway sandwiches on every corner, They are delicious!

    by John Steck on 04.15.2010
  27. I’d rather drive. I like the freedom. The penned in feeling of a rail car is not my idea of fun. I hate the subway.

  30. In New York, the subways are full of dirty, poor, depressed people. Unless it is RENT, then they are singing songs about how much they want to leave this horrible place. Fact.

    by Brenaugh on 04.15.2010

  32. She was sitting at the subway. He was late, as usual. But this was late, even for him. Where was he? He was usually only like 5 minutes late, never half an hour. Just than he phone rang
    “Hello?” she answered.
    “Lindsay help me!”
    The line went dead.

  33. I really kinda want to go on the subway when I go to Toronto. I like to people watch, sooooo….it sounds pretty nifty. And plus, somebody told me that’s something I really have to do.

Also, this just gave me a really bad Subway craving. 6 inch roasted chicken on white, with mayo, salt and pepper and lettuce. Toasted? Yes, please.

I could probably eat Subway every day.

    And those COOKIES!

  34. Stanger in the subway
    One without a face
    I feel the angles glowing
    Across the soft embrace

    Along the subway finds
    Me in amusing places
Without my feet to carry me
    I’m silently a-wasting

    Tracks. Tracks. Tracks.

  39. There was many things going on in Central Africa. But one thing that wasn’t going on was great transportation. Now Cars are wonderful and great, But their cost were to high. A bus would be good as well, for short stops. But the people of Central Africa had to travel longer distances without stop. The best thing to do would be to add a subway.
