I shuffled my papers nervously in front of me, straightening my tie. The con’s of being valedictorian were numerous, but this….this was by far the worst. The entire school assembly waited eagerly in front of me. Their attention now mine. The worst shooting in our schools history and I had to make a statement. I had to provide closure. What about me? Where’s my closure?

i feel like this is a bland statement about a word that i just saw, which is also known as ‘statement’. and actually, i am not using correct punctuation, making this a grammatically incorrect statement…in fact this statement was just corrected by a spell checker.

Her eyes were fixated on the line above her head,it glowed in iridescence tempting her to look away from the line – but she was captured by the words.

so now, i am curious. since i just started using this website…is there only one word each day? which in that case, this site in blander than i expected. i thought a random word popped up every time you clicked “go”.
on another note…i am wasting 60 seconds of my life to post this random statement that no one will even read….awesome

What statement do you want to make in life?
What statement have you already made?
Have you heard this type of questioning statement(s) before?
What do you think about this statement?
Is it a valid statement?
A sentencce that is said as a thought out loud. Something that doesn’t always make sense.

Just recently I had to write a statement about a accident I was in. Which I thought was very usefully in helping me maintain my story and point of view.

i had to give this to the cops right. my couple words describing what i saw. shit, i just saw what everyone else did, nothing different. It made no difference to them though, so i wrote my story down and handed it to them. And thats how i ended up in these handcuffs.

fast statements are sometimes better than long reflections. it’s action after all.

this is a statement. I love making a statement with my outfits. I wonder who invented the word. Maybe their last name was Statement. I doubt it, though. I just got my braces off, so, hopefully, I make a statement on the first day of school.

It was given as fact. It was such a sure thing that my mother was willing to bury the past she knew to be true, in order to satisfy what the prophet said had happened and will happened. She blamed her memories on an undiagnosed dementia.

“Wer etwas gelten will, muss eine Meinung haben”, dachte Horst. Aber er hatte keine. Und ihm graute davor, dass Marianna schon wieder den Blick von der Zeitung hob und fragte: “Du Horst, hast du das mit den Polen schon gelesen? Was denkst denn du davon?” Deshalb setzte er den Hut auf, nahm die Rasierklingen und ging in den Garten.

Bold statements. Scarlett O’Hara making a statement that she couldn’t care what old ladies thought, she would do what she wanted. She is like me in some ways, she frequently cannot stand the truth.

It was brief, and it was potent. Though many tried to brush it off as if it was nothing, there was little they could do except wonder how there little worlds would be able to survive. The man at the podium just looked at them and smiled, satisfied that the statement had completed its work.

make a statement. just be. be yourself. I think that making a statement means that you will just do what you do when you do do it cuz you wanna do it how you know how to do it, and if you didn’t know how to do it you wouldn’t do it.

How could this have happened? She was always so careful with their money. Yet there it was, bleeding like a festering sore on the page of their monthly statement, the little line in the negative. It was gone. It was all gone, and now bankruptcy was their only choice.

I make a statement you do not necessarily agree. If I agree with the statement and you do not agree with the statement this is a source of consternation for me. Likewise I would imagine that if you make a statement that you agree with, and I do not agree with it, that this may be a source of consternation for you. I worry about making two respective statements, each of which we respectively agree with, and, finding that neither of our respective selves agrees with the statement made by the other, feeling consternation toward each other and perhaps ourselves.

The sky was a darker grey than usual and walking beneath it I could feel an oppressive weight bearing down on my already tired and sunken shoulders. The clouds were static, heavy and especially low over the city, not breezily drifting across the sky as they were in my dreamy expectations of working life. In my dreams, employment was a fairytale where I’m the princess running through waist high cornfields to the free arms of my gorgeous prince.
The bus stop was unusually empty, like it was making a statement on the unfashionability of public transport. Every other morning this week there’d been at least half a dozen other commuters at the stop, yawning and stressed like me.

I looked around at the widespread mess of papers that were on the hardwood desk. I searched endlessly, trying to find the statement. To no avail; it was lost among-st the plethora of sheets.

i am currently making a statement. people always make statments about things that they believe in like a fashion statement or a rebelling of some kind to inspire people with their statements. yes. Also I somehow cheated and got 60 more seconds, that’s pretty strange you’d think they would have some kind of protection against this kind of thing but i guess not…how peculiar

I made a statement to my husband the morning after two days ago…oh wait, that was yesturday. It was a little comment about something she wore the night before at a dinner with some of my politician friends and for that I got put in the doghouse.
Be careful of what you say, you have no idea who is listening, or where what you say will lead.

I can’t make a statement without doubting the angle I’m taking. There are so many sides to any one truth, I don’t want to feel like a misinformed liar. Sometimes, however, I realize that it’s admirable to be firm in your convictions.

i make statements. statements are made by a lot people. people make random witty statements or can be really mean. real people don’t really care much about statements. they are all entitled by some one else’s opinion. statements are just delivered opinions. on one makes a statement in its true sense. they just pass off opinions. i think the human race has lost its ability to think for themselves.

“But of course. The sky is blue. The grass is green.”

She was clearly making a fashion statement today. Trussed up in a brown sheepskin coat, bright scarlet ear muffs and vertically striped black and yellow jeans, I could tell she spent much longer in front of the mirror than my 2 minutes every morning whilst I try to get my hair to lay flat.
I sat at my computer screen, staring at the text. Our teacher had asked us to write a list of at least 50 things no one knew about us. I had gone onto the internet for inspiration, and found at least 68. She had also asked us to present them tomorrow in class.
The thing is, I’m not sure I wanted anyone to know these things. I don’t know…

That is when I decided to take up Guerrilla Art. Quite easy, make a sticker or stencil, spray or stick it in the location of your choice, but you have to be anonymous, and you can’t get caught.
I got caught. They sent me to work as a slave for the Government. I’ve been Blacklit. Watch out for me, I am a monster. I can hardly think on my own, let alone rebel. I am weakening, soon I will be a shell. A robot.

rambling and dribbling, each uttering a slurred statement

whom, she always said, would be along soon
