I’m not square, I may not be the life of the party but I can live with that, I’d rather sit down enjoy a drink and have a good conversation about how time comes to an end and when four or more travel together, they travel to the point of least resistance and there in faraway times two loves fly through the ages.
A small chalk square, hastily scribbled on to the cold asphalt. Schoolchildren run through it, a thrown ball bounces off at a sharp angle, and the laughs and cries of children can be heard from all directions.
I’ve always been a nerd. A geek. Back in the days it was called a square. I used to hate it. But now, being a geek has come in handy. I know stuff that the “cool” people don’t. They come to me. And now I’m cool…which is cool.

All squares are rectangles. Not all rectangles are squares. There is some fundamental truth in that statement. All liars lie, not all people who lie are liars. What traits do we share with others that we do not identify with? What does their seemingly errant ancestry mean?
Something people call others they thing are strange or odd. I have yet to be called a square, but there is a man in my office who fits the box perfectly. He’s propbably the most “square” person I’ve ever met in my life.
This is also a shape. Not too many things are actually square in really life, howvwer, the first thing that comes to mind is a saltine cracker. The salty kind with little holes that you put in tomatoe soup.

I have often tried to square my beliefs with the invisible apple that hovers just beyond my eyes. It is a spectacular red, and shines unseen with a reflected glow of a hardy sun on a summer day. I want to take a bite of this unsubstantial fruit, but I know it ain’t there. But I’m HUNGRY, you know?
we’ll never mount a proper protest as long as public spaces are left open. In these squares and piazzas we are open to control, herded like sheep and pushed away all too easily.

I know I have been taught to think out of the box, but in reality all my live I have been a bit of a square. I tried very hard to be hip and with it but all of the glam slang words really don’t apply to me at all.
a square is a shape. a quadrilateral. it has four corners and four sides, all of which are perfectly equal. many things come in the shape of squares, e.g. the tradition tv before these super big huge massive ones that you see now. people can also be called ‘square’ which refers to them being uncool or nerdy.
Square. His glasses were square. And I don’t mean rectangle square. I mean same-height-as-width square. They didn’t suit him, actually. He had a face that would have made sleek rectangular ones far nicer. But no. He insisted on the stupid square things.
Square. It’s a shape. It’s a person, no personality. Maybe it could be both. A square person is a fair person with a square heart with a fair heart. A box is a square no a cube anyway you fill it with things, overlap it, cover it until it’s shapeless, what will you do with it then? Throw it out, toss it. Just let it go and get a new square.
I am square. I sit alone to eat my lunch, pulling it from the brown paper sack slowly. There are groups all around me. I hear girls giggle and watch them lean into their beau’s and I feel myself recessing farther into my own world. They have comfort; I have a hard bench seat and a lonely lunch to eat.
I sat in my room and stared at my empty pure white wall. I sighed happily, for a clean space is a happy one, and at last my mind is clear. No more Johnny Depp with heavy eyeliner or a unicorn with blood dripping off of it’s silver spiraled horn. Just peace.

I walked in to the dimly lit room, afraid of what I might have to endure next. It was small, square, and had a faint smell of wet cement. I sauntered to the center and waited. All of a sudden there was a loud screeching noise coming from the far right corner. It started racing closer to me, instilling fear in my every breath. Suddenly the lights boomed on and I couldn’t believe my eyes.
