Sure Mom said nobody could come over but it was just the three Camden boys from across the street and us four. What’s the big deal? Her and Dad wouldn’t be home till eight. It was only… 7:45, what? . I yelled at the guys, “It’s 7:45! We have to clean up.” They rolled their eyes Kenny said, “So what? We have 10 minutes then we’ll clean. They’ll probably be late-” Just as he said that we all heard a creak. At the same time we stared at the door. Mom and Dad. We didn’t move a muscle just waited for what was to come. For the next hour we cleaned and scrubbed with the sponge.
I twisted the soft formation of synthetic fibres; releasing heavy white water droplets into the yellow bucket. I loosened my grip, watching it consume the malignant air, it’s versatile body fluctuating with each breath.

the kitchen sponge is filled with dirt and grime. i dont understand why people have the need to use it to “clean” their dishes. on second thought, a sponge could be referring to the womans birth control?!

I really like Sponge Bob. I used to watch him all the time as a kid. And I hate it when people leave sponges in the sink to get all moldy- it’s fucking annoying.
