Suddenly, a pygmy hippo crashed through the forest underbrush, made straight for the water, and with a splash, disrupted the stillness that was the solace of the place. Noises erupted from all over the forest, of indignation and of excitement.

  3. As I was walking past a big open pond one day, I heard a very loud SPLASH! I had no idea what it could be so I stepped closer and as I did I heard that same SPLASH again. It was a boy who climbed on a branch and was joyously jumping into the water in the bright summer sunshine.

  8. bare feet on the dewy grass as I work my way down a steep embankment that leads to the swampy pond behind my childhood house. I slip in at night the mosquitoes attacking my naked, pale skin as my body adjusts to the water temperature. I dive, a small splash from my weight, the droplets suspended in air for a moment and then drifting back into the black waters. Its how I spent my summers escaping from the heavy heat.

  13. Things need to be done. They need to be documented and arranged. I want to be heard, sometimes. Just the tiniest splash of proof that I’m existing and I’m enjoying it. Other times I wallow and dance and chill, not really caring. I can’t tell which is worse, the wallowing or the wanting. Who really knows…

  16. i love to splash my sister with water in the summer. also when she splashes me we get into a splashing contest/fight and its to see who wins. also, in the summer when we go to my moms moms house we go in the water and have lots of fun and try to kill people with splashes and waves. and this is what i do during the summer.

  17. I wanna go and have a really fun time at splash mountian with a hot girl with giggly boobies and booty. Thats only right. Hot summer time. cheap ice cream. doesnt have to be quality becuase it is super hot you are sweating like a fat woman in a heated yoga class..sliding and rubbing your body on platforms that everyone else has left thier sweat on…and all you need is some cheap ice cream..and a bubbly chica with giggle boobies and booty…splash!

Never again was she going to let what others thought about her hold h back. She got up and got out of the everyday chaos of those who wanted to smash her dreams and destroy her story.   19. All I can think of is that ridiculous rubber ducky song that always gets stuck in my head whenever I hear it. “Splish, splash I was taking a bath…” Good lord, that song is irritating. Now it’ll probably be in my head for the rest of the day. But at the same time, it couldn’t be all bad. That song also reminds me of this picture I found online of two little ducklings in a cup. Super adorable :)

  20. splash! goes the water, and slaps me in the face with great force. wow! what a wave! didn’t think the water had this force today! they say a swell is coming, that they’ll get even bigger. we always have good surf at easter. just hope it’s not big and scary and no one drowns this year!

  32. The wellies squeaked; cheap plastic always does. She was as tentative as a duckling but like a duckling she knew where she wanted to be. She wanted water over the top of the sticky plastic boots, she wanted the Eureka of her body moving the puddle from where it used to be to where it is now, she wanted the splash to rain down on her face.
