  5. the slipper fit like a glove so soft yet supportive I could have worn it anywhere and i should have. I felt like I was walking on a sheep everywhere I went – I was in love in the slipper – in love with walking again. Haven’t felt like that in years. I had hated my feet for so many years until I put that slipper on my foot. Oh, how I wanted to just walk out of the store and keep on going. I did NOT want to put my horribly uncomfortable shoes back on and walk through the mall, but I had to.

First thing that comes to mind are my giraffe slippers, well my mom’s actually, that I have been wearing around the house all break. They have forced me to be lazy, because I never want to go outside in them for fear of getting them dirty..

She would make up excuses as she drove away from him. Well maybe I left my pack of ciagerrets there. Maybe a shirt. Maybe a cd. She couldn’t possibly leave without those things.

    but i did.

it took a long while, eons & eons
    & eons.

    but i did.

    It was quite simple really:
a bit of diet and exercise,
    and,
    cutting off my toes.

i was able to fit in the slipper alas.

  35. I don’t often wear slippers. In the hot desert mornings, my feet prefer to be free of their padded bondage. Indeed, between my toes rest grains of morning sand carried from dreams far away. And yet I dream of living in a locale where slippers would be appropriate footwear.
