Astor had never missed one of Tobias’s shows. He was always there, right in front, beaming like a goofy kid while his best friend nailed monologues, made some audiences root for him and some boo and hiss, and, more often than not, died in whatever way befit his character. And Tobias never missed any of Astor’s shows, either; he stood off in the wings, smiling gently and shaking his head while the trickster’s energy surged through the crowd, magnified by music.

They walked towards the massive tent, unaware of the adventure that was about to begin.
Upon entering, they found themselves in a circle of animals, men, and women. Everyone was shrouded in darkness, so they were unable to completely understand the magnitude of their actions.

I used to be a performer and do a ton of shows here in Minneapolis. At one point I was creating a fan base and then I did a dumb thing, I moved to Los Angeles. After 18 months there I had to move back home. Here I was somebody but in LA I was a million miles away from anything.

Shows…hm what to say about shows…I like a lot of different shows…TV shows…performance shows…like theatre…they’re all so grand. Especially Doctor Who, Supernatural, Merlin, and Sherlock. Love, love, love watching shows.

I see what other things and people show me. It’s hard to understand what I’m showing myself. I can’t think right now… My face shows my emotions most of the time, it’s very transparent, and if someone really knew me… they’d understand that.

There were many shows he went to as a boy. The most memorable of those involved a fire breather and a juggling monkey. Yes they were good days indeed.

whenever i go to the theater, i make sure to bring along a small notebook. i take notes on the things i see, and especially on the things i love about the show. there are frequently things i wish to remember at a later time, and they are very important.

i kissed a fictional girl;
she left in on my lips
and a slice of aching
between my ribs.
(i still see her every night
or every week depending)
i loved a fictional girl;
i’ve never felt so whole
and worth writing about

The throb of the crowd goes in beat of the bassline.
The energy is uncontrollable, throwing sweat and booze all over you if you get to close and breaking your bones and bruising your skin if you go too deep in the crowd. This is a show. This is a concert. This is music. This is lived for, strived for, bled for, died for. This is a show.

“TV shows.” My Grandad began, “They’ve gone downhill since I was a boy.”
I sighed. Not this again.
“Grandad, you don’t have to watch it.” I turned around crossly to look at him.
He shrugged, nonplussed.

i have never been to too many shows myself, just a few but i always thought that they were way too crowded for someone like me. i used to stand in the bleechers and watch as people started pouring in from the streets, i saw them but they could not see me. I was very much at peace with this situation, then the show started and everything became a hazy blur of colors.

It shows, doesn’t it? The effect that others have had, and the effect I have had? Adopting the subtle tendencies of conversation, their opinions over time. It’s quaint, and scary. Am I my own, or am I just a jumble of every single person I’ve ever met, every single effect that’s ever been had in my life?

I CANT WAIT TILL I HAVE SOME OF MY OWN, ILL BE THE BEST PERFORMER AND MILLIONS WILL COME JUST TO SEE ME. THEY WILL BE GRAND AND SPECTACULAR AND ON TV AND IN THE NEWS. BUT I WONT GET TIRED OF IT BECAUSE I LOVE TO PERFORM AT SHOWS. ILL MAKE LOTS OF MONEY BECAUSE ITS SOMETHING I REALLY LOVE AND ENJOY.

You’d probably think you’re crazy for staying up late on a very fucked up night because you just have to distract yourself, by watching this really lame show and then you end up watching all the past episodes and seasons. Why? Because of the awesome track that sums up everything, the fastpaced journey through the lovely ending you so desire just to discover there’s another leaf of life to be flipped over, maybe to ruin, or maybe to get yourself back up. I’m in a whirl of thoughts am I? I guess I should stop the reruns.
