  1. what is a professional? someone who has a mastery of their field, who knows that he knows nothing, who lives every day learning like a child about the new things he can do with what he knows and what he can find out. or she. no sexism, im just a guy.

  4. I am a very professional being. I wish, actually. If I could do anything, I’d be a professional soccer/football player. I find them quite attractive. In fact, if one was to tell my they played soccer, I would automatically find them ten times more attractive. I actually think that applies to all athletics. Especially wrestling and football (of the American kind). Athletes, professional or other wise, are more attractive.

  22. Professional, talking about professionals is kind of funny because Im certain there a professionals who are professionals about talking. I wish I was a professional talker, speech giver, and what not. My time is running out, a professional would have done better.

  23. I’m so tired of this word. Professionalism is overly glamorized in this country. It seems like everyone is obsessed with it. You have to be some mindless corporate robot in order to be successful. It seems like the “American Dream” is nothing more than perpetual contentment without actually ever finding true happiness.   25. Professional requires an outfit. An outfit that pretty much means I can only use 1% of what I have in my closet. Do I buy a whole new wardrobe to fit this dress code? Maybe I should… or maybe I should just shut up and wear the tatty cardigan and the jeggings that I like to pull off as slacks.

  27. Being professional means presenting yourself in a respectable manner. It means being respected for who you are and all that you can be. I think of professional as being classy and not allowing people to step all over you, but doing it in a polite manner.

  34. the professionals of this world are too serious. From what i have experienced, all they care about is their profession. It amazes me how narrow minded they are, they never think outside of the box, which i think is messed up. Like a lot.

  36. i think of someone who does what they like in a really good and flawless way. it’s an adjective to describe perfection and being able to handle any type of situation that someone comes across. i think of lawyers, doctors, and those types of professions that involve a lot of intellect.

  38. Someone who’s specifically trained in being something specific, but it’s usually used not in that context. It’s usually shortened into ‘pro’ in videogames and things like that. Often professionals receive special learning in a college or university.
