Two men walking down a beaten trail, not knowing what they are about to behold.

The path,
the two roads diverged:
so, which one?
If you spend too much time thinking,
you’ll never know what is at the end of either.
Kristin Ross
which path will I choose, the well lit one, the dark one, or the nonexistent one?

it’s the thing i rarely follow but thrive on. it’s what we need to stay on course but is there really a course at all? Who else is following it and do they see the same thing i do? Where will it take me and who says it wont benefit me to run off of it every once in a while? I don’t need it. I want it. I’ll follow. I’ll stray.
Ali
It was getting dark. She knew that she should be getting home. It was scary going down that path alone. The stories of what had happened there were known by all…..but were they true. Could it be that a man could have done that to his own kin?

I took a path that lead me astray. I though that I knew where I was going, but now I’m lost. Can someone please tell me where I am, and how to get home. There is a loss of feeling in this place that I have landed. I need you. You know who you are. My long lost love.
Danny Luegers
It was the same as all of the other paths in the world. Muddy, trodden-over by stones and rock; there was nothing to differentiate it from the same paths that the world had seen so many times before. Solid stone walls ran along both sides of the dirt, and they were crumbling, disintegrating before the feeling fingers of time that grasped so greedily at them as the stone and mortar died away.
Rebecca
the road was empty, the lights were off. what could we do? we were going nowhere, feeling nothing. just following the path. restless, boneless.
Aleksandra
She walked down the slim path through the forest. It was a beautiful day, especially when the sun was shining through the leaves, creating an etheral beauty. Almost like magic. Her imagination carried her away to mystical lands unseen by human eyes. It was her inspiration…

A path can lead to anyway. It may be the path you are on in life. It may be a quiet, fern-surrounded path in the woods.

Psychopath — a trail around an insane asylum.

I looked in the woods by the side of the road and saw a cleared out path dotted with little purple wildflowers and I couldn’t see where it went. I think it led to Heaven.

We are all on a path. There are many paths in life which ones we take are what determines our life story. i have turned down the wrong path more than a few times, but it makes for an intresting story.

It is how to get somewhere
it’s where to go
it’s how you get there.
Sometimes, the ending isn’t what matters.
it’s the path you take.
You can be honest, or you can’t.
All of it is just about your path, in the end.
this is the end of my writing path

As I walked along, feeling the icy autumn wind stab its fingers into my neck and face, I realized that this was truly my heaven. Staring up at the cold grey sky, I blinked as a raindrop smacked into my face, leaving me realizing that nothing would ever be as perfect as this.
Matt
The path leads nowhere important but follow it for it will change your life forever, and not for the worst. You’ll learn about your mistakes and you’ll be given the chance to fix the ones that you can, but the others you will have to live with. This path is very important and it will fix your life.
Carol
I went down the path and what did I find??? I found nothing. A path to nothing?!?! How did I find myself in this predicament. Was I just not paying attention? Did I do too many drugs? Wasn’t I trying hard enough. Too late for those questions. The only question now is how do I get back on the right path…
Joey
once you have a path you have to follow it. It’s not always lined with golden bricks but it doesn’t help to pick the one that looks pretty, because it is the one that usually has a giant troll that will come and kill you. Always follow the right path, and never give up and turn around, the farther you get, the more successful you will be.

As I walked along the dark path through the forest, I was consumed with an immense sense of dread. If Daisy had wandered this way, she was probably as lost as I was.
I whistled for her and called her name. Nothing. “Stupid dog”, I muttered to myself.
I wrapped my jacket a little tighter around my body to shield me not only from the cold, but from the terror that was beginning to sink through my skin.

My path is blocked. I don’t know how to define path, other then a route to get a supposed goal. Whether it be spiritual, or simply another location. I know I think of a path as something higher, a path to reach my desires. Whats your path?
Austin Ballard
are you going down the right path, do you even know what path means, are you on a path or are you completely fucked? Are you flopping all over the place like a dead bunny rabbit in the back of a pick up that is four wheeling in the terrain outside of cody wyoming? I mean seriously, whats wrong with you?
Sheilah
It wound charmingly across the landscape like a clockwork toy, over a hill and behind a tree, little bridges and streams and houses ambling by in an inoffensive manner.

I have a one circular path around my house – it is very weather beaten but i know it so well :) I can walk in the dark on it and not worry. The path leading from my house it s long…very long especially when you’re alone. I dont like walking it at night on my own, who knows what could happen

the path is not always clearly defined.
it is not always well lit.
it does not follow a pattern,
and sometimes it leads you in the wrong direction.
but on your journey you must make modifications, turn around and start again.
and in the end, the path will get you there.

I think of the word “path” and I think of the Robert Frost poem, “The Road Not Taken”. It’s not just about thinking about the poem, it’s about what the poem represents: choices. One choice is always the rejection of another choice. To choose one thing is to openly not choose the other. We all walk down different paths, unaware of where one path might lead us. We all make choices.
erin
A path may lead anywhere but always if you take the path with positivity in your heart it will lead somewhere beneficial. If you take the path with negativity in your heart it will always lead to failure. A lesson for us all I think. I, for one, will wish to always have positivity in my path.

ive chosen many wrong paths in my life, but have equally chosen right paths. Every path leads to the unknown. There is a fear in the unknown but a beauty in it as well. For behind what you do not know lays the entire world at your fingertips. Choose paths, right or wrong…they’re bound to lead you to infinite knowledge and great experiences.
D'Arianne
follow the path that lead you to where your heart desires. never stray from it. trust it.

I walked along the path, waiting for him. He never came. Large oaks and maples shaded my steps, transitioning to pines along the water. At the park on our street, there was a family feeding the ducks, small morsels of bread cut from baguettes and loaves. I thought of him then. The smallest child, maybe three or four, laughed and smiled the whole time.

There was no safe way to travel. Everywhere they go, there is violence. The righteous path is splattered with blood. They would not have it any other way.

Along it we walk, beyond the lines drawn by us, but taken, as it is we suppose we’re supposed to do.

The elf walked along the path, his bow slung along his back. A merry tune issued forth from his lips. He loved this path. Ever since he was a child he had traveled along it with his mother on his way to visit the horse paddocks. Now, in autumn, its edges were lined with sweet-smelling flowers, tall, fragrant pines, and nice rocks. A deer was standing among the bushes, looking at him. They used this path too. He smiled. He liked deer.

i’d rather take the path more often trodden, because i’m usually afraid to take chances. However, i am NOT a coward, i just think it’s smarter to follow in someone else’s successful foot steps instead of creating your own, which may lead to nowhere.
