  5. The path down by the lake was overrun with weeds. He could smell wild garlic and had to hop quickly a few times to avoid being stung by nettles. He wondered, if he’d lived a thousand years before, if he’d have heard a swan singing about how her sister murdered her, or if he’d see Viking warriors counting their spoils on the shore. One day, he’d walk a new path, but today, he was content to walk his familiar one and remember those who’d walked it before him.

  11. we normally ride our bikes down the silver comet trail and follow the path that it leads
    not knowing where it will go we just ride and admire the sights take in the fresh air and the nature
    we look at the homes that we pass along the path and we have a great time, sometimes we rush and sometimes we ride slow and just talk.

  12. the path often followed is not always a path you ought to follow. granted, there is never a path that has never been taken. so you may as well pick your path regardless of what other people say about it. cause no matter how crazy or stupid you are, there has always been at least one other person just as crazy or stupid as you.

  13. a path can be long or short. It can take you somewhere you want to be, or somewhere you don’t. It can be hard, or easy but it will definitely take you somewhere. Some people have a clear path in life, others don’t know where they will be from one day to the next.

  19. i like paths, follow different ones and you get somewhere. i have chosen the unbeaten path ever since i graduated college. the shitty part is you can’t always get the money you want doing what you really love. and it takes hard work to finally get there. the one thing i remind myself is to keep myself on the ground. not making my dream something crazy.

  28. it wound around the woods, covered with golden leaves. bare in places and rocky in others I followed the twists until I saw the stars. no one else around me, i picked out the ones I knew and made my wish. A wind stirred the grasses and I heard an owl calling. Time to turn around.

  29. path. now that’s interesting. I guess it makes me wonder what path I’m on. Am I on the right path? Did I take the path less traveled? Am I on the beaten path? Hard to say. Perhaps one day I’ll know, or at least have a better idea. My path here is nearly up, the bar is turning red.

  40. I’m slowly following a path that leads to a place I’m unsure of. The only motivation to follow this path is the fear of not knowing what my life would be without some sense of purpose. Would I just blow it? Would I fade away to nothing. I am nothing without my path. And I know nothing about my path.
