He claws at the thick wood panels, nails not even leaving a single scratch. There’s a gag over his mouth, and for some reason, he cannot undo the knot. He has always been good with knots. The thought makes him panic even more, and he starts to struggle anew. A few seconds later, it sinks in: he is trapped in this closet, for god knows how long, and no one will save him.

wood paneled walls ring around me, on the floor my legs are twisted up into a bundle under me. Laptop in front. The sound of laughter or crying floats up from the stairwell

That panels was lose. She pried it off the wall and found a small metal box behind it which she tried to open, but it resisted at first. “Ouch” her finger got cut – and then the box was open.

She looked up at the ceiling and sighed. His arm was draped over her languidly. She was perfectly content in this moment.

I and also my guys happened to be studying the best techniques found on your web page while suddenly I got a horrible suspicion I never thanked you for those strategies. These men were definitely as a result thrilled to learn them and already have clearly been loving these things. Many thanks for getting quite accommodating as well as for settling on this kind of marvelous guides millions of individuals are really desperate to be informed on. Our honest regret for not expressing appreciation to earlier.

I bestow insincerities as if they are wildflowers – spots of impermanent beauty amongst the opposite, excesses of concrete and glass.
And just as I pull them by their roots, I pull these words from my throat, spurs embedded deep, a single branch left unscathed to grow anew.

The panel consisted of three women and three men. Two of the men were gay, the other man was African-American, two of the women were Asian, and one of the women was trans. They discussed everything from comic books to film adaptations to the future of science fiction. And somehow, that rubbed the good ol’ bigots the wrong way. It didn’t matter that these queer and diverse artists were revolutionizing the culture of nerdery as we knew it: No, as long as they didn’t fit the mold, they were traitors to the grossly narrow scope that was considered, “the mainstream.”

Standing before the panel was intimidating, even though I knew each member individually in different capacities, having them grouped there on the other side of a desk was a cause of concern. For some reason I saw each of them pooling my weaknesses and flaws, ignoring my successes and achievements. That paranoid response was logically a reflection of my self-doubt, but then the paranoid statistically cannot always be wrong; among my dreads and fears might be an acorn of truth. Why is it that we are so easily convinced of a negative and resist the positives?

TIDES AND FLOWING PANELS OF THE SINGULARITY OF THE WAVES OF THE INFINITE POSSIBILITY, WHEN IT IS A PANEL.
By Robert Kohlhammer on 08.12.2018
the panel blinked quietly at me in the dark.
Flash, flash, flash.
The red lights were my freedom if I could just reach them. Stretching, I reached through the bars. Stretching my fingers as far as they would go. Nothing but air.

A panel is a group of people who answer questions about a particular topic. They can be experts or novices who have opinions to share. People can learn from those who are on a panel.

A ceiling panel is just a ceiling panel. Unless it’s a portal into another dimension. But until you can jump that high, you’ll never know.

interesting. the first thing I think of is a panel of judges. What emotions come up for me when I think of judges? improvement, judgment, loss, win.
–is that really what i think of?

The universe is sometimes like a panel. It’s weird.
The space it brings? It’s way too wide.
And yet, way too little.
As a young girl, I’ve always pictured this vast world we lived in as something… Greater.
Something better even. Maybe, something beyond what we think I guess.

the light comes through
and the thin panel of fabric
doesn’t do much
to block the onslaught of morning light
and last night i turned and tossed
and this morning i turned and tossed
and the morning sun mocks me
through the thin fabric
as if i should be happy with lack

The panel convened for several minutes as I awaited their decision with baited breath. After their deliberation the tall faceless one in robes approached the podium and spoke. “You have made a strong case for justifying the life you have lived which led you to us. However, your fate is decided. You will not be waking from this coma, your time upon the earth has ended and you will not be allowed to retain your mortal existence. We can only hope that you find what you seek in the next life. That is all.” The gavel sounded three loud bangs and my vision slowly faded as all went dark.

The panel had nothing to say. We’d been there for over an hour and the most intriguing thing said by any of them was uttered by Professor Hodgkins when he said he’d once wet his pants when he was so nervous for his first day of teaching, 40-some years ago. In my opinion they’d diverted pretty far from the original topic of Global Warming in South America.

I never saw this word in my life, this is my first experience with panel. Maybe we should use with in woods or wall. Panel for houses or hospital. I never seen before

Yet again, she was standing in front of the panel of judges waiting on their feedback. But today, she was in a fog, not very aware of her surroundings because she was so immersed inside herself- thinking and feeling. Suddenly, it became powerfully clear that she didn’t even know what her judges valued or how they came to the decision of what is meaningful and what isn’t. She looked and saw people sitting in front of her. They were just people. What if her meaningful is not their meaningful? Why should she believe their assessment means anything at all? She could hear voices start speaking but it was as if her ears had stifled the sound so she could continue listening to what was happening within her. She slowly turned toward the door and started to walk out. She didn’t feel like she was doing something wrong by walking out, although she was sure the judges would not like it. For once, she listened to herself and gave her own judgment value.
