This is a thing that high school classes use. Sometimes college. You put transparencies on it and look up on the whiteboard to see it. You turn out the lights to see it better. It makes me think of old things. I get tired when look at overheads. School.
I had an overhead Projector when I taguht. it was bulky and hard to store. I hated how dusty it was and the little specks from bugs. Transparencies were so expensive to buy..
The overhead light flickered imperceptibly, plunging her for a few milliseconds into darkness. In that tiny moment of blackness, she imagined she saw a face lurking in the shadows, looking menacing with its cruel gash of a mouth.
The skies overhead cast a gloom over us, trying to push us down with their magnitude, but first kisses with your last loves…not even heaven above can make it less memorable.

Overhead is the sky, underneath is the water, inside all is cold and unfeeling. He floats on his back in the pool, looking at the stars. He is alone save for his thoughts (or would be, except he isn’t thinking). If he wanted to, he could sink to the bottom, sit on the floor, and see what the sky looks like through water. Maybe he wouldn’t want to come back up.
She watches him from her perch in the tree. She wants to join him, but doesn’t want to disturb him. She thinks he looks peaceful, floating alone.
His loneliness rises like a mist over the pool, just out of her reach.
seat in my car that went boom liike that and millions of timy things leapt out and pulled out my eyeballs and feased on them for a quick snack, and it was FUNNNN lets do it again
I looked up above, to see a falcon flying straight into the large machine that controlled the entire city. As I watched, I wondered exactly what the falcon’s purpose was. Did it truly think it could save everyone?
the overhead projector screened the words ‘fuck you asshole’ for the entire freshman english class to see. the substitue teacher walked in late that morning, carrying a fresh cup of hot coffee in her hands and screamed in disgust at the words. She was a bimbo.
they make me angry. I think of my language arts teacher. Who is extremely boring. but then I also think of my Wheel of Culture teacher. who is really cool. I like her alot. She’s one of my favorite teachers.

I knew my family wouldn’t make it. I was the only one home. Stayed sick from school, even though it was only the last week. I was lazy like that. the last week is boring anyway. Now I never get to finish that last week. Everything is dead now. Everything is dirt and dust, and broken.
Dripping thoughts cascade the small corner we dwell in. Where can we go? When we move we cannot help but glance over at that small corner, threatening. Waiting.
From my desk, I could tell what was happening. She was at it again, blabbing away at the sort of meaningless thing she found enthralling for that day. In this instance, it was the plight of the English language in the face of modern technology. Her overhead display showed us the types of examples she couldn’t bare to tell us herself, and the same examples were under my desk and on the cellphone I was texting on. lol
There was a jet overhead. The sound was deafening. I knew where they were going. They were going to drop bombs on our enemies. Protecting us so we wouldn’t have to fight them on foot. We never see any action. They always take care of it and then we sweep through and find nothing. I hate war.
In school we have overhead lamps to project the lesson onto the screen. My French teacher is a nonconformist who adheres to old-fashion wipe boards. We all love her the most.

The spacing of overhead microphones while recording a full drumset should be around 6-8 feet high, and spaced equidistantly from the snare.
Business overhead was unreal. No money for research or expansion. Just enough to keep afloat.
