A beautiful tree, a simple sweet scent. All lined up in a row, they sway in the wind. Orchid the wind sweetly and softly whispers, orchid. The smell wafts gently through the wind, passerbys wonder over the origin of such a silent gift.
Beautiful flowers that for some reason make me think of death. Not because they’re dark or even shaped like the grim reaper, but it’s there all the same.
If I were to look at one I may not feel that way at the time, but when I think about one I think death.
I stared at the flower on my bedside table. It looked so delicate, so fragile that I worried it would vanish if I took my eyes away from it. The petals were blushed delicately with pink, and the stem was the richest green I’d ever seen.
tall bright magnificient oriental flower, hard to look after doesn’t like draughts or too little or too much water. Bee orchids are very cute. Don’t see them in pots very often! Haha.
I’ve alredy done orchid. I did not do so well the first time that i did this and maybe not so much better now. But at least practice makes perfect and one day I will know more about orchids than ever wanted to.

My heart beat faster, my blood rushed, I knew my head was blood red with effort. I had to run. I had to get away. He was after me. The man with red eyes and pure white hands.
The orchid lay there, curled and beautiful. I hadn’t ever seen it before, when I left everything was dark and gray. Analisa came out into the yard and was watching me.

“was that always there?” And unspoken, behind it the words.

Orchirds are Singapore’s national flower. I have seen them in the Botanics gardens near my home, lots and lots of them, forming a festival of colours, shining under the blistering hot sun and hot humid weather.Global warming.But the orchirds will always be beautiful…
