  1. Now is the time when i know i must change. I’m sick of saying i’ll change when this is done or i’ll begin my change tomorrow or in a month. People need to focus more on now because you never know, you might not get a later.

  2. I’ve got it now. You’ve set up tiki torches. You’ve put on a coconut bra. You’ve squeezed lemons to make lemonade. We don’t have sugar. That’ll pucker my mouth for sure. You’ve set up faux palm trees, like we need the shade in this living room. All you’re missing is a clambake in the fireplace. What’s that? You’ve got one going in the bathtub? You’ve blistered your hands building the fire? Grandpa….really?

    by Skye on 01.11.2009
  3. I woke up to the feeling of my shoulder being nudged back and forth. I squinted in the dim light.
    “Ricci, wake up!”
Susanna? What was she doing out of bed? Her little voice sounded fearful and earnest.
“Not now, Susanna,” I mumbled, giving the girl a little shove. “Go back to sleep.”

    by Just Me on 01.11.2009
  4. Now is the time we start forgetting about everything conformity stands for. Forget religion. Forget the way things have been done since the beginning of time. What’s the point of life? To build a legacy. So build your own one. Do things the way you want. Don’t fast for a month in the name of age-old teachings. Be you.

Now I’m checking my phone, waiting and hoping.

  10. Now or never. Why do I only have two choices? I’d like more. Now is present, this current moment, minute, second. And never is well…..never. So when do I tell you that I love you? Now.

  11. now,
i’ve never been happier for you, and i
    have never
    known you to be so
    honest in the
    last six months.
    i can’t wait for my
    own future to slap me,
    finally after months
    of the desire for
    pain
    I
    can have it
    now.

    Please.
    Give me your hand.

  12. I don’t even know what that is. I have been having trouble being in the now. Staying present. My mind wanders to tomorrow, next week, next year: the future. It wanders to the things I fear most in the world. Maybe I do that because I am afraid of what will happen if I let my mind stay in the present.

    by Stephanie B on 01.11.2009
  13. now makes me think about the present. i wish i could know how my future was. why “now” why can’t it be later. who know. now has so much meaning to it. i don’t understand it sometimes. you have to do this now! no, later. future. now is just a form of future.

    by krystal on 01.11.2009
  14. Now is a time frame people can either be in, or not be in. We see people saying that they’re “in the now”, but do they really mean it? What is the now? Does it have something to do with fashion sense, age, generation? And why do you want to be ‘in’ it? These questions are left unanswered.

    more than anything
and i wish i could say

  16. Now, there are many things in the world. In today, now is not what is, but what is in the moment, however blind to it we are. For those that live in the moment, they do not consider either now nor when, or plan far ahead. As long as ‘now’ ensures friends, fun, and no hardship, living in the moment is okay for them.

  19. now is the word i have to be writing about. goodness i’m in a panic because i don’t type quite fast enough. I’m supposed to be doing biology but i can’t because I’m taking picturs of myself, eating, thinking about my appearance, less about school. biology is difficult and i want to do a good job, but i keep refraining from working to my fullest potential. after i finish at this website, i’m going to do something.

  24. I have sixty seconds to throw together any grouping of words I can manage. Like improv theater: open your mouth and let God do the talking. A prompt, a scene; “Yes, and?” says Stephen Colbert. Discover the moment.

Look: little bits of metal fly off and over the heads of the square below, while others just go down the tower into that little heap that’s forming down on the floor. I don’t know which one I’ll be. Not long, now…
