  1. a montage of coordinates linked your heart
wired through cognative identity, washed upon a shore of yellow sand the shells twisted and the reefs content in their slumber.

    by Blaine Lewis on 06.01.2011
  2. In the beginning there was air, and sky, and a little bit of love and fairy dust, and when that all came together it made the land and the water. And when it rained seeds were planted in the ground, and from the seeds grew the mods delicate shoots of plants that have ever seen, and two of these plants grew eggs, and from those eggs emerged us.

  3. montage. i sometimes wonder if before we die, if its true we see a montage of events that have happened to us – sadness, excitement, happiness, bliss, pain. to be honest, my memory is so bad i just want that one moment thats going to stick out to me forever, not a montage. just one moment that tops them and nothing else can ever compare to. that will leave me satisfied when i depart this life.

  4. Life is a montage. You take one piece here, another there, and a few little snippits all over. It’s random, yet it harmonizes together all so perfectly to create something beautiful and tragic, funny and sad,

  5. the mountainous montage of sky and sea, trees and birds fills my view. it is a jumble of nature. it is fortifying in its diversity. natural selection has chosen such a select randomness.

  6. “…similarly, stream of consciousness has its filmic equivalents in montage, voice-over dialogue…” the professor continued to read another boring quote from John Simon, as we were in the process of learning Simon’s Law. Personally, I preferred Simon Says. And, Simon Says this class is boring—except, for that succulent, young thing across the room. I stared in admiration at the voluptuous, brunette beauty that sat near the front, but rarely spoke unless spoken to. “Mr. Henley…” I heard the professor say my name and instantly replied, “Montage! Simon’s Law!…..what?” “It is clear someone is daydreaming in the middle of my class. I do not appreciate daydreamers, and seeing as my work is too easy for you, there will be a quiz on Thursday. Class dismissed.” Upon hearing this, I laid my head down on my desk, the sound of groaning and shuffling of papers surrounding me.

  7. I don’t know what montage is. I wish I did. I feel retarded now. Maybe I should memorize words and definitions more often. All I learn is stuff from reading articles and blogs and then going to dictionary.com and having to learn it for the time being.

  8. Looking through your life, seeing everything that’s ever happened. All the friends you’ve ever had, all the memories you’ve ever made. The mistakes, the regrets. The perfect moments. The romance, the tears. All of it. Right there in front of you. A series of pictures that will never quite do it justice. But enough to spark the remembrance. To keep it alive.

  10. montage. is life a montage or is it painted by us. or by me? who knows. do i wish to know or live in the painting painted by vondershnag. whoever he is, and a state my point. what if a sat one day and decided this to be my life? chose this one over others. what if then i changed my mind and had a montage on my film. montage sounds like a nice french word. montage. but the word also reminds me of horse. riding horse. a montar un caballo. montage. still in spanish the word means over writing or over filming. over something. over something beautiful or over someting horrible? its all relative. thats one thing if learned in life. completely everything is relative. so go right or go left, straight back and forth its all relative. maybe you’ll still end up in the same montage you tried to walk away from. but i guess now i rather believe and imagine a montage is done to fix something, to make it better. why would something be changed to the worst? its relative… jajaja back to square one! lets leave it to the horses.

  11. what the heck is montage?
    google it.
oh, ok. it’s like the guy on the bike on the cards flashing to make it look like a movie.
    right?
    i’m not sure.
i found a book under my bed today with pictures of dogs that flashed and turned into other dogs.

    by S. Scherini on 06.01.2011
  14. A montage of training flashed before his eyes, and it was done. It was literally like watching a Rocky movie.

“Woah.” He said. “I know kung fu.”

“I will kill you,” she replied, “Keanu Reeves quotes are not permitted and you know that.”

He grinned mischievously. “Still, that was pretty awesome.”

  16. that’s a life story: a series of strange snap shots, of special days, epiphanies, tragic denouements, and those strange moments when the ordinary is so vivid, so intense you know you will remember this moment for a lifetime, even as it is happening, pictures just piling up, crowding each other more and more with all the bizarre threads that led from one to another lost and unfathomable

  19. There were fifteen thousand words that could describe her. In fact there were more than that. But the idea that a set of words could actually quantify a person was sickening. Each life is simply a collage of experiences. These experiences slowly play out over time, a montage of singular events forming the personality. And hers was beautiful.

  28. We dressed up like all the famous movie star couples, we acted out all their scenes. It was nice to just be with you, having fun, kissing even though we weren’t together anymore. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a long awaited day with you, than doing a movie montage in the thrift store.

  29. Sports montages allow you to believe that a lot of time has passed but really, it usually is a day or a few days that time has passed. Like in Rocky, he didn’t have much time to prepare for that fight, but that epic montage makes you believe that he worked for such a long time. Bullshit. MOntages are lies.

  31. Hold the montage. We don’t know each other well enough for that yet. You can’t just juxtapose two separate lives into one frame and call it a “relationship.”

    by on 05.31.2011
  32. A montage. What is a montage? A collection of things, your life, a gaggle of memories. What does it do? It reminds you of the past, of things left behind both for the better and for the worse. A montage of anything is a trip down memory lane, and they bring back nostalgia like nothing else.

  33. Houses in the land. Payments and things that are associated with houses that are for sale. Money matters. But then I think that’s wrong because what I seem to be thinking about is “mortgage”.

  35. Tegan stared down at the montage of images that he had collected with Nick. All the little memories collected at the bottom of a shoebox, little images of them, photographs he had taken on each of their dates and the little things all made the bigger things more obvious. The chain around his neck glinted cruelly in every single picture and it was never more clear to him than it was that instance that Nick had never seen him as anything other than some sort of obedient dog. Some fucking pet to drag around on the end of his leash and to show off whenever he pleased.

  36. Montage is Montana’s coming of age story.

    by cantrellr on 05.31.2011
  37. The family montage was so strikingly beautiful it had everyone talking. All of the students were asking them questions about how they came to that great awakening. It possessed pictures from all over the world, showing their lives in a whole new light.

Some of the students began mimicking and mocking them. Making fun because they didn’t understand.
