In the beginning there was air, and sky, and a little bit of love and fairy dust, and when that all came together it made the land and the water. And when it rained seeds were planted in the ground, and from the seeds grew the mods delicate shoots of plants that have ever seen, and two of these plants grew eggs, and from those eggs emerged us.
montage. i sometimes wonder if before we die, if its true we see a montage of events that have happened to us – sadness, excitement, happiness, bliss, pain. to be honest, my memory is so bad i just want that one moment thats going to stick out to me forever, not a montage. just one moment that tops them and nothing else can ever compare to. that will leave me satisfied when i depart this life.

Class dismissed.” Upon hearing this, I laid my head down on my desk, the sound of groaning and shuffling of papers surrounding me.
I don’t know what montage is. I wish I did. I feel retarded now. Maybe I should memorize words and definitions more often. All I learn is stuff from reading articles and blogs and then going to dictionary.com and having to learn it for the time being.
Looking through your life, seeing everything that’s ever happened. All the friends you’ve ever had, all the memories you’ve ever made. The mistakes, the regrets. The perfect moments. The romance, the tears. All of it. Right there in front of you. A series of pictures that will never quite do it justice. But enough to spark the remembrance. To keep it alive.

Each life is simply a collage of experiences. These experiences slowly play out over time, a montage of singular events forming the personality. And hers was beautiful.

We dressed up like all the famous movie star couples, we acted out all their scenes. It was nice to just be with you, having fun, kissing even though we weren’t together anymore. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a long awaited day with you, than doing a movie montage in the thrift store.
Sports montages allow you to believe that a lot of time has passed but really, it usually is a day or a few days that time has passed. Like in Rocky, he didn’t have much time to prepare for that fight, but that epic montage makes you believe that he worked for such a long time. Bullshit. MOntages are lies.
