  16. We stopped counting the jumpers around lunchtime, just like we stopped counting the figure a couple of months before. It was bound to happen, as it always did. The crash. And as usual people had overextended themselves and others so far that an eternity in hell coutsy of a concrete sidewalk seemed a closer option. It was then we discovered thst their jumping was able to be estimated so we started trying to get some last ditch profits from the falling executives.
