integrity is being honest to yourself. finding out who you are and sticking to it, and not changing for anybody. because the worst type of betrayal is betraying yourself, and you stop being yourself because there’s nobody to be any more. you’ve given up who you really are for something else, something that could never be as important. don’t let it happen.
If the whole of humanity had integrity, the honesty to be true, I might strive to actually be a part of this idealized community in which we imagine to live.
Something too often ignored. Elusive. Or inborn and unshakable. Is it something nurtured? Like a tiny seed grown to a bud, becoming a beautiful blossom? If not watered, it withers to nothing.

He sighed softly. He was facing a difficult choice here. Everything was on the line. His wife loved him. He knew she did. And he loved her, there was no question about it. But this woman… There was something so alluring about her. It wasn’t that she was “sexy,” per se, but something about her was just magical to him. She understood him. What path would he take? Could he maintain his integrity?

Pride, honour, worship, love, feelings and more. Integrity is about being who you are, being proud of that and not worrying over the silly things. People call you cocky, tell them where to go. Integrity keeps you up when you’re down. Its all about yourself, your being. Your mindset.
Tom likes to think he’s reliable. He likes to think that he always gives his honest, no shit opinion. If someone asks him something that they know they’re gonna get a hard to face but completely true answer. He likes to think his friends like this quality about him, and even if they don’t they suck it up because it usually works out best for them in the end anyways.
Tom’s holds his integrity in high esteem; if you ask him something he’ll be honest about the answer.
He sort of forgets this, however, when he tells Ed that no, he’s not in love with him, what in the world is he talking about?
His integrity can take a few blows every once in a while.

Someone once questioned my integrity….this one girl I worked with…she was on this crazy power trip and accused me of having no integrity. Well, the worst thing that anyone can ever say to me is that I dont have integrity. It’s something I pride myself on having and it’s something that I never let myself forget. Integrity is the most important thing that you can have…cherish it.
Her integrity was defined by the lines of her face. You knew you could trust her with just one gaze. In the off hours, her friendliness did not betray her; her self-truth was bound by her strong will and her poise. Dignified, she knew life’s blessings and life’s curses, and though she knew the falter, she also knew the rise.
what has any integrity anymor? WHO has integrity? What does it even mean? for me integrity is proving people wrong and proving you can outlast against what they say. But an honest proving of worth, value, importance. Something that comes with in your self. Something you have to do a an honest poor mans day of work, just to live.
I’m keeping my integrity intact. I will never falter for anyone else. Ever. I may be looked down upon, but in the end, it only matters what I think. I will have to live with myself, so I might as well make the decision that is right for me. No one else has to live with the consequences.

Success comes from having integrity. But in other words, integrity could ruin your whole relationship and way of life.
