  13. Hovering is the art of floating just above the ground. I’d like to hover. It’s not really useful, but i could skip nasty floor conditons. Also, maybe floating will enable me to jump from great heights. Hovering while running would look badass, too. I’m a fan of hovering. Flying is just one step ahead. I hovered once in a dream and people were fascinated and scared.

  17. hovering is the activity that hornets do, or wasps, when they are checking you out, especially when you spot them and want to give them a wallop . . . which i’d never do, because i love all creatures, big and small, you see hovering is something we all do when we aren’t sure what to do next

  19. hoverring is something you do when you’re in the deepest state of happiness it is one of the greatest discriptions of a feeling you could use. could describe love or excitment or nervousness. you just sit there hovering while you wait for something to happen that will define what you were hovering for.

  20. Two months ago I couldn’t really tell you what a hover-craft really was. Now I’m constantly surrounded by flight talk and acronyms. I married a fighter pilot. I don’t know that he hovers, per se, but lets just say I have a new window into things sky-high.

  26. somtimes i just want to hover. Like If I had a super power it would be to move objects with my mind because I could hover by “pushing” the earth down. Also it would just be so convienant to just hover over any object that was in my way, making it easier for me to get to point B from point A.

  27. Hovercrafts would be cool to have. Except for the fact that no one would walk anymore and people would get even lazier than they are with cars. This is a disappointing realization. However, it wouldn’t be so difficult to put together.

  40. the act of floating above something. It is such a majestic idea if you think about it. To hover…. To be able to suspend yourself above something, anything. To just be there and not have to worry about the terrain that you are supposed to be standing upon. it would be a thrill
