Helpless, lost, confused. This was her brain, but not clear confusion just a hint. She knew that she was lost, like she was living in a dream, but it was the faintest hint of being lost or helpless. She couldn’t think clearly or speak clearly, she wanted out of it, it was like she was in an ocean trying to swim to shore but with every stroke of her arm the shore became farther and farther away.
She sat there, her hands in her lap, her eyes down, the very vision of helplessness. “Don’t do this shit, Cam,” he scoffed, “I know this trick.” She looked up, a face of pleading, “What? I’m not doing anything.”
“Cam, you are the strongest woman I know,” he ran his fingers through his hair, trying to smooth his thoughts down at the same time.
Tick Tick Tick. The clock moves forward and I all I can do is wait. Is She okay? What are they doing to her? Will she make it? I want to know. I want to know. She is the one in need. I am the one who is helpless.
I hate feeling helpless. That’s why I do so much work on my own. I want to make sure that I can always survive on my own unless people who just wait for someone else to take care of them. I’m thinking about learned helplessness and how we can avoid that too. Oh my gosh this is so hard and my time is almost up! I am helpless to control the actions of others but I’m learning how to deal with that.
I was helpless. I still am. I can’t always do the things that I want. I have to rely on others.
But that’s true of all of us, isn’t it? That’s what’s great about friends and family. It’s not merely that we have people who will love us, but who will help us regardless. And we can help them. We’re there for each other.
we have been trying to find the ice cream shop for hours now and it doesnt seem to be here, no one is answering me when i ask them if they could point me in the write direction, im helpless.

It takes strength to ask for help. That’s what they said. But she didn’t feel very strong as she filled out the forms to get her and her baby on welfare.

Feeling helpless is akin to drowning: you feel the water rise up to your lips, and when you breathe in, all you taste is salt and seaweed and all the life that somehow flourishes in the deep. But you can’t inhale water. Your lungs fight you, and you’re left to gasp and splutter and kneel on the cement. Everything is cold in your mouth.
I can’t do anything about it even if I do it’s useless it won’t make a difference. I don’t know why I just a, so … helpless everything I try and do doesn’t work . there’s just npthing I have nothing so why even try

Im helpless when it comes to changing a car tire. I rather fix a meal in the kitchen than a tire.I find that much easier.
