  1. Is my general belief in how things come to be. The pull gravity on the universe causes movement. From each point in space there is a gravitational pull which causes us to move in our daily life. Gravity guides us.

  4. gravity, and i see people floating as if they were baloons…or that head floating off its body, that idea that our bodies are not us, but something separate. but u can say gravity and the crap from yesterday doesn’t go away. you can say mango or pear or clouds or frozen sweaters…. i can’t seem to forget it and move on,,,, it was like a nightmare..

    by CC on 07.25.2009
  8. amazing john mayer song. Gravity is what keeps us grounded. Without Gravity we would be floating somewhere in space and life would just be horrid. Gravity is newtons biggest discovery.

    by Michael on 07.25.2009
  9. it smells. it drops. weighing down thoughts. it cant be helped. it loomed evil-like over everything. stop bothering me. get off my back. enough gravity. go be gravity somewhere else.

  13. I was stuck on the floor as she floated away, like a lost child’s balloon at the county fair. I never got to tell her that I loved her. The only thing that ever kept us apart was gravity.

    by Emma on 07.25.2009
  14. The weight of the world on her shoulders, she pressed on, praying to God… or whatever it was… if, indeed there was anything at all… that she would make it through.

    by Stef on 07.25.2009
  15. I just wanted to try this out so of course I’m looking at the word gravity, a word that has been (indirectly) floating around in my mind all day. Tied down. Pulled on a course that I really did not sign up for. I’m fearing it. And all of its future consequences. Completely inhibitory.

    by N. on 07.25.2009
  16. Gravity — not only what holds you down but how intense the world can be. What’s the gravity of your situation? “No escaping gravity…” Unless, of course, you’re an astronaut.

Gravity, on the basic level, is one of the integral laws of physics which allow our universe to exist. Without it, well… There would be nothing.

    by Steffen on 07.25.2009
  17. Oh, gravity why can’t we seem to keep it together? The times change, people change, gravity holds us down. Grounds us. Keeps us sane. Perhaps it’s not all flowers and bunnies though. Maybe it’s why we have such a hard time keeping our chins up. Maybe it’s why we feel so confined, so alone. Oh, Gravity.

    by anonymous on 07.25.2009
  18. gravity is what keeps us on this earth
    keeps us sane
and without it we would not be here
because earth is the only planet with gravity
earth is the only planet that can sustain life
gravity makes me think of the earth i see everyday
the gravel on the road even though it was manmade. :)

    by Kaitlin Morgan on 07.25.2009
  19. the gravity pulls to the earth
gravity is what keeps us sane
    keeps us human
and without gravity we would not be here
because earth is the only planet that has gravity and we should appreciate it
gravity is the most important thing to us and gravity reminds me of the earth i see everyday

    by Kaitlin Morgan on 07.25.2009
  20. Gravity takes us down, down. All things must fall at some point. Pegasus flew too close to the sun, flew higher than anyone had, grasping for glory, but eventually the wings melted and he fell hard to the earth. Those who fly highest fall hardest–this is what they never tell you about ambition, success.

    by Andrew on 07.25.2009
  21. gravity is the force that keeps us grounded
grounded like people in this world should stay
grounded could be a person having sense
grounded could be a crazy person acting human
gravity is what holds things in place
like glue holding something on paper
or someone who holds a family together
gravity is a great force of nature
    a great force of life

    by Byron Goodwin on 07.25.2009
  22. Gravity is essential to the whole well being of the universe. Without it we would all perish due to the fact that the black hole of the sun imploding into a black hole will warp us to the next dimension.

    by Kaji on 07.25.2009
  23. Gravity is to flight as hate is to love: a necessary evil, precious and propelling.

    by Myona on 07.25.2009
  24. Gravity is to flight as hate is to love: a necessary evil, precious and propelling.

    by Myona on 07.25.2009

    by Rebecca on 07.25.2009
  26. Gravity is inevitable, the only rule that cant be broken, like me stop loving you… Simply impossible.

    by Lia on 07.25.2009

  28. Waldo walked on and I pretended to pull him. Reaching the hill I sat down and pulled out my can tine. A strong wind came through and blew the white sheet off of stiff Linda. I ran to recover it and Waldo stood terribly still, trying to keep the wind from blowing her away.

    by Loser on 07.25.2009
  29. We are all gravity’s children, and we must always return to her arms eventually.

It’s a sad truth, actually, when you think about it. Because unlike another mother, a more caring mother, gravity has no sympathy.

She won’t help you back up once you fall.

    by Julia on 07.25.2009
  30. touch down the earth
    touch down the stone

    Not the wind
    free floating

    Touch down the water
    Splashing, swirling

    Not the bird
    flying free

  31. there once was a lady from Gravity
who lived a life of depravity
    she’d boink any guy
    in theblink of an eye
just to pleasure her favorite cavity

    by skippy on 07.25.2009
  32. I don’t think about gravity very much, though I know it is part of what makes earth what it is. On the moon where there is no gravity it would be hard for humans to live.

    by chrisy on 07.25.2009
  33. The earth fell out from under me. I was scared…or was I elated? I didn’t know up from down anymore. Where was I going? Am I in a dream? There aren’t any thoughts in my head except for the ticking of the cuckoo clock.

    by E. J. on 07.25.2009
  34. Don’t pull me under. You may be going down, but I can’t. I have my life ahead of me. Finishing high school, college, work, a family. I can’t be brought down.

    by Katie on 07.25.2009
  35. Gravity holds me down for another day; though, soon I’ll learn to fly.

    by denzel washington on 07.25.2009
  36. Holds me down…sometimes weighing me down too much. Squashing my hopes and dreams. But then again I’ve been known to fly too high and it’s good to have that reality check where you bump back down onto the cool, dry grass and get in touch with your roots once again.

    by Crystal on 07.25.2009
  37. it would be cool to be gravity free for a day or so. then i wouldn’t be overweight! i think it would be cool to go up in the space shuttle and experience life without gravity. Since my company does stuff for the space shuttle, maybe someday I’ll get a chance…ha!

    by Jayne on 07.25.2009
  38. whoa… downer! Massive dude, that like control pretty much everything, like elastic only one way. Until the whole big crunch thing that is, if that’s even real… I don’t know. I don’t care much bout owt I learnt at school anymore. We did gravity in physics, that was sooooo dull!

    by Rach on 07.25.2009
  39. “Why do I fall when I jump?” the cat wondered. He knew that he and his feline brethren were more adept at jumping than other species, yet falling to the ground after launching up was inevitable. The cat envied the birds, who could always fly out into the sky, free from the confines of the earth.

    by vish on 07.25.2009
  40. Gravity always pulls me back down.. I always think I’m floating above it, and I find that I, like everyone, am not immune to its effect. Sucks for me, I guess.
