Is my general belief in how things come to be. The pull gravity on the universe causes movement. From each point in space there is a gravitational pull which causes us to move in our daily life. Gravity guides us.
an, suddenly, it was like, in that one moment, when his eyes were locked with mine and our minds were in sync, the only thing keeping me from flying was the gravity pinning my feet to the floor.
gravity, and i see people floating as if they were baloons…or that head floating off its body, that idea that our bodies are not us, but something separate. but u can say gravity and the crap from yesterday doesn’t go away. you can say mango or pear or clouds or frozen sweaters…. i can’t seem to forget it and move on,,,, it was like a nightmare..

I was stuck on the floor as she floated away, like a lost child’s balloon at the county fair. I never got to tell her that I loved her. The only thing that ever kept us apart was gravity.

Gravity, on the basic level, is one of the integral laws of physics which allow our universe to exist. Without it, well… There would be nothing.
Oh, gravity why can’t we seem to keep it together? The times change, people change, gravity holds us down. Grounds us. Keeps us sane. Perhaps it’s not all flowers and bunnies though. Maybe it’s why we have such a hard time keeping our chins up. Maybe it’s why we feel so confined, so alone. Oh, Gravity.

Pegasus flew too close to the sun, flew higher than anyone had, grasping for glory, but eventually the wings melted and he fell hard to the earth. Waldo walked on and I pretended to pull him. Reaching the hill I sat down and pulled out my can tine. A strong wind came through and blew the white sheet off of stiff Linda. I ran to recover it and Waldo stood terribly still, trying to keep the wind from blowing her away.
I don’t think about gravity very much, though I know it is part of what makes earth what it is. On the moon where there is no gravity it would be hard for humans to live.

it would be cool to be gravity free for a day or so. then i wouldn’t be overweight! i think it would be cool to go up in the space shuttle and experience life without gravity. Since my company does stuff for the space shuttle, maybe someday I’ll get a chance…ha!

It’s a sad truth, actually, when you think about it. Because unlike another mother, a more caring mother, gravity has no sympathy.
