Dismissed can be both positive and negative. Positive when you’re in school and your class is ‘dismissed’. Negative/ignorant when a person’s idea or thought is dismissed.
The elderly Gordon Grimmace, as the children called the geezer, dismissed his grandson as though he were nothing but a bother. Jerry shook his head and left the room, but knelt in the hallway for just a moment, lifting a prayer on his granpda’s behalf. “God, soften his heart, please.”
He dismissed the blind woman’s warning and continued his search for the girl with the pixie-cut blonde hair. He searched and searched and he never found her. He died without knowing that girl was the girl who the blind woman was–the woman his father fell in love with. The woman who brought him to this world.
As the school bell rang, she stood there, among all sorts of friends of friends. Singled out among the throngs of students making their way to summer. She stood on the marble steps until every last soul was gone from the building. Then she stood some more. It wasn’t until the single tear shed down her cheek that she stepped off, into a summer of continuing loneliness.
The ting of the bell rang in my ears, and the teacher needlessly yelled, “Dismissed!” The halls were teaming with students and teachers alike, all wanting to be the first out those front doors. There were things to accomplish, and none of them had to do with education behind walls.
Today, at 3:15 PM, I was dismissed from my Journalism 1 class. A few seconds after the bell rung, I said goodbye to Mr. Cutler and went on my merry way. I was proud.
The students sit silently, waiting.
The teacher pushes his glasses up and reviews the names for detention for tomorrow.
Everyone is clutching onto their backpack like it was the last thing holding them on in this world.
The teacher scans the room, and finally says with a sigh, “You are dismissed.”
The students run outside, their freedom finally gained.
The end of a lesson when you get dismissed is a good feeling :) Nothing else to write. dont really understand this.. Is this real? why do i need an email and shizzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

and just like that it was gone. pushed away; everything we’d had. i was consigned to his pass, dismissed on a whim, pushed away to stand with all the other girls he’d ever loved and left, lost amongst the rest of the clutter he’d collected on his lost, chaotic life.
There are a lot things that people dismiss that they probably shouldn’t. Their dreams, for example, how beautiful silence can be, the opinions of children, the feeling that someone is standing right behind them. Ignorance is bliss,but at the end of the day it will always be ignorance.

I was dismissed from class today. It was pretty cool definitely left campus and went to the carls junior a block away. there I saw a dead bird I thought to my self “hmm wonder what could have happened to it”.
One day I was walking to school and I got on the bus. The bus driver told me to get off because the school had dismissed me. I didn’t know what she meant, but I guess I didn’t have to go to school that day. So I got off, walked home and went back to bed. I say it was a successful day.
Dismissed. Just like that, I knew that with one word, my future in my dream carreer was forever out of reach.

Are all the words dismissed?! :/ When someone dismisses how you feeeel and totally disregard what you want or even what is best for them.
