Destiny is a seven letter word beginning with a d. What is destiny, everybody has a destiny, it raises the important notion of pre-determinism. Do we follow a set path to reach our destiny, in control of our every action ultimately leading to a destiny of our making. Or do we follow a set path set out by God. Do we have no say in our destiny?

what is our destiny? is it to be happy? to be rich? to figure out things? i think its just to figure our selves out..i like the name destiny though…i havent found out what my destiny is yet. for now i’l just go with being a good mommy :).

My destiny is always on the horizon. A lot of people have told me that I am nothing, and will amount to nothing, and I’ve always felt the need to shove it back in their faces. I still wait for the day when I can fully manifest it, and fully realize what I’m talking about.

I went on a little road trip. My destiny was well known, but I was a little baffled by what I might encounter once I arrived. To my pleasant surprise, it was everything I had hoped it would be. Easy to create a new destiny when you start at your old one.
It was his destiny to be a porcupine. He knew this because of his love of sleep, his love of pine cones, and of course, the fact that he had quills. Yes, it was probably the quills that made his destiny the most obvious.
destiny doesn’t help us. it gives us false ilusions of what’s to come, it makes us wonder and spend countless hours wondering about tomorrow, the day after, next year, when we could be focusing on now. who cares about destiny, we should make our own destiny instead.
why the first word must be destiny. whatever. destiny is something invisible but genuinely controlling our life. difficult to explain. is destiny really exist? or the future is changeable and nothing is destined to be.. the time limit is precisely a lie because i still can write down..
Destiny is what we are meant to do in life, but I am not sure whether or not it exists. what is destiny? is it somethign that is perscribed, pre-ordained before birth, or do we create our own destiny? I’d like to believe that we create our own destiny, becat puts the power squarely in our hands. and if we don’t live up to our dreams then we have only ourselves to blame.
Is when you think everything follows a line that you are creating for yourself, like a drunk person who thinks he or she is walking straight. It is an illusion of continuity in life to make everyone feel like they have a final destination.

I don’t often think in terms of “destiny.” It sounds too hokey. Purpose, plan, future. I”ll talk about those. Thy will be done. That is my destiny.
