  1. Once upon a time, I was crossing the street. I saw cars coming. I went faster. Last thing I remember, I said “Damn, I never saved my Animal Crossing game file!”. I turned around, got crossed by a car, and crossed over. I was done like Shaq doing a crossover. Thank you for listening.

  3. crossing this bridge was going to be the most difficult thing I had ever done. It wasn’t the height that terrified me, nor was it the fall… only the unknown that may or may not lie at the other end. I had never been one to make quick decisions, and now it seemed that I had the choice to cross, or the choice to die.

  5. The crossing seemed impossible at the time, a miracle of modern science and ancient fantasy. Now that he’d gotten used to it, it was dull, monotonous, and he wished they’d just get there already.
It’s fun how even time travel loses it’s shine after a while, but that’s life. No matter how fantastic it is, it’ll lose it’s luster eventually.

  8. After the crossing, we found a parking lot without any cars, but the caves were on the other side. We had to get to the caves to see and decode the writing on the cave walls, but we lacked the batman equipment, and I had lost my superpowers. The cave walls would have to wait.

  9. She stood at the crossing, watching the water in the creek trickle down some haphazardly placed stones. There was nothing she could do but watch. What else could she do? She couldn’t take one step further without any money to get by on.

  10. I’m crossing a bridge. There’s a road at the other side of it with a train track running accross it. I’m not so sure what it’s supposed to mean, but it may have something to do with crossing something. Why I don’t know is beyond me, beyond my comprehension. I have no idea what the hell is going on anymore. This is strange. I have this feeling of incompleteness

  12. Crossing the bridge was like giving herself over to a higher power; fear of heights, fear of falling, fear of water, all suspended in the wonderful joy of knowing she was safe. She ran across faster than she’d ever run before and didn’t stop until she reached the other side.
Crossing the bridge was like giving herself over.
    She never wanted to stop.

  14. As i was crossing the road, i saw the most bizarre phenomenon.. it shone so bright that it blinded me. It was beyond this world. And then it stepped right in front of me and it’s haze receded. And that’s when i knew i had to be dreaming. It couldn’t be.. It just couldn’t.

  16. the road like a lost raccoon i found myself feeling very lost in the great abyss that is the city of toronto. oh this place, it kills me sometimes. the dirt, the people, the dirty people, all of it. sometimes i just need the serenity of grass and animals and clean air. clean air is such a luxury, sadly we are not all familiar with it.

  17. Crossing over a river, a river of sadness. I arrive home. But it’s not really home. I come home looking for hope, for security, for peace. But I don’t really find that here. Crossing over from where I know I don’t want to be to where I think I might belong only to find that I don’t. Do I look for other rivers to cross, or do I cross back over to where I was?

I want to go there, and live there. It’s the promised land for me. And we all have that world somewhere waiting. All we have to do is to make that crossing.

  34. I stood at the crossing, the breeze taunting me with its chill. The choice was hard, the decision even harder. Finally, I crossed the road, where the car waited, and got in, the vehicle taking me to a new life.

  40. i came to the crossing and i waited. lights flashing, interest peaking, car running, people looking and i waited. this was the crossroads, the moment where i determined who i was going to be and who i decided i wanted to belong to. lights flashing earth rumbling horns blaring and before i knew it, i spoke the lie that saved my life….

and the acela express rushed by, my crossing, and my life has been growing ever since.
