502 Entries for “crew”

  1. Me and my crew went to the local spot. It wasn’t anything fancy, just somewhere where we knew we would be safe. We weren’t technically even a crew, just a few kids who had had it rough, sticking together to protect one another. The best crew I know anyhow. We never talked much, but we understood each other without words. It was a family-relationship we had, like none I’d ever experienced.

  2. The crew was busy and passed him by. He had never been on a plane before and was not sure of the proper etiquette. But most of all, he watched Mary, a few rows to the front and wondered why she had not come to their field before they left, why she had not sat with him and why she had not said a word to him.

  3. I was hanging out with my crew of best friends at the mall when we saw the guy I had been dreading most to see. He looked at me and I nearly screamed, sending my bags flying as I ran the other way. Why here, why now, in this new town. Why was he here?

  4. we were a crew of wonderful friends. who were always together and always friends. we spent our time living, laughing and living. instead of worrying like the rest of the world. we will never for get one another, we will always have eachother..

  5. the crew was once a happy bunch of friends. they never knew what to expect from the days ahead. they took it one by one, step by step. they will always remeber the days they spent together laughing, loving, living. this crew will always be together in one anothers hearts.

  6. ah my crew, what a faithless, hopeless group of bastards, mutinied against me and set me afloat out in the middle of nowhere. i’m all alone. forever.

  7. The crew wore socks that were stripped at the top. This made the girls laugh because they looked too much out of time. This was the second millennium for god’s sake.

  8. She turned, gaped, stared, as the mom in crew-cut jeans dragged her child along on one of those child leashes. What’s up with that? she thought. It’s not like it’s my business, but there’s something drastically inhumane about that….But who’s to say what a mother can and can’t do? Maybe the child needs restraint! Maybe he has a severe mental condition that makes him harm the other people, the “normal” people and-Stop. It’s not like your opinion is validated. No matter how you look at it, you’re stereotyping. She sat down shakily and looked at her reflection in the storefront window. Maybe when I have a kid, I’ll know why that mom in the crew-cut jeans would hold her son and drag him like an imperfection, she thought.

  9. Crew. There are several different meanings to the word. Mostly it can be used for a bunch of people working on a project together. Like say a crew for a movie. This would include, make up artists, directors, photographers, etc.

  10. jcrew is my favorite store because it is as preppy as i want to be, unfortunately there is no way that I can continually afford them… I wish I could though. I like it there, but I hate that I sweat in their things so much. :( Sometimes I am sad about my body, too. its tough being fat in this day and age. I wish I was skinny.

  12. crew. david foy does crew, it’s what got him into cornell. Crew is huge in seattle, all these kids, getting up at the crack of dawn… for what? I guess it’s the whole cognitive dissonance thing, when the harder something is the more you feel like it’s worth it.
On the other hand, crew is like, my crew. You know?

  16. Crew? What kind of crew? Who cares? Crews are awesome. Pirate crews, spaceship crews, any kind of crew inevitably either bands together in fiction or just dies. THe latter is a little sad, but hey, it happens. I wish I had my own crew. We’d go around doing incredibly awesome stuff as often as possible, like saving people and kicking ass. Lots of ass.

The captain stood bravely, and spoke: “Men, we have sailed. We have lived. 22. I think about being on the crew of a ship (original, right?) and how they all have to work toether to follow all those crazy nautical commands. And THAT makes me think about the zombie crew on Pirates of the Carribean. And THAT makes me think about Johnny Depp. I’m off to go watch movies. Later.

I hope I can get one this summer. I can row all over the place. I really want to row to that place by the interstate. It looks really cool and swampy. How much does a kayak cost?

  29. Something you do with a team, maybe at a job. Maybe you could even possibly consider it to be a team, or a group of people you hang out with. Crew is a word of unity. You wouldn’t be able to really form a crew without it. Crew is some kind of sport I think. It sounds a little stupid I guess. Really stupid actually.

  33. We hadn’t seen land in such a long time. we were slowly running out of food and the only thing we had left was a small barrel of beer. I admit it, we were lost. Lost somewhere in the deep blue pacific ocean. What had we done to deserve this? I took care of my family, treated my crew well and fed them all. I was lost in a deep trance of thought when a member called out “Land ahoy!”
