My dad is part of a firefighter crew he fights fires with his crew all day long and he is part of a paramedic crew he saves lives all the other days too…
i absolutely love being part of a crew. working as a team to get a production underway. finding ways to help out whether it’s doing makeup and hair, wardrobe or simply refilling coffee…it’s all important to keep things rolling. i admire every person who works together to create something larger than all of us.

When I joined the band with Danny, Wyatt, and Gap it felt more like being crew. You start to do everything together and tolerate each other’s differences. I miss feeling like I was apart of something; like something was getting done. Like I was creating something revolutionary with a group of people, creating memories that I would remember from time and time to come..I guess what probably irks me the most about the splitting of our “crew” was the loyalty. Nobody ever betrayed one another and we did our best to always get along and make music that we were all proud of. Crew..it means more than what it is.

It was the beginning, the first step towards the rest of their lives and even though winter’s hand was putting up one heck of fight, they were determined to win. They had to. I was once friends with many people who did Crew at Albany. They were very physically fit and loved it, but had to get up early to do it. I couldn’t get up that early! My crew was the group I hung out with on weekend nights. We would cruise the boulevard and enjoy our time together. We would end the night at a brick oven pizza shop on the boulevard, eating individual pizzas drowned in vinegar and olive oil. It was fantastic!

The top athletes thought how difficult could it be as a member of the crew team. they found out the hard way to be on a crew team takes actual teamwork and hard work to build up the strength and stamina to stay on the boat and make it move fast through the water.
There was a storm brewing on the horizon. The waves battered the helpless crew back and forth across the deck. The winds howled and shrieked like a banshee, bringing in cold gusts of sea air. By the end of it, the men were left bedraggled, heaving in deep breaths, grasping at the lifelines.
The crew men came to work in the gross pipes at my house. The crew men were also wearing neon yellow hats with orange ducked tape on it. I didn’t like the gross crew men.:) And plus they smell weird. Sorry but it’s true… :)
