  5. when I think about it there is a sense of elation. a taste sensation. I want it. happiness. pleasure. guilt. worry. I shouldn’t have eaten that. I won’t eat it again today. I promise myself. I break the promise. I feel worse. why did I do that? and it’ll come calling again tomorrow. and I’ll fall for it again. there it is the need. the want. the temptation.

  9. Drowning. Drowning, my lungs are filling with this substance. It’s thick, thicker than water, thicker than anything. It’s hot. It’s drowning me. I try to scream but suddenly my mouth is filled with the delicious taste of coca and sugar. If I’m to die, this is surely the best way. It’s chocolate, and it’s drowning me. But now it doesn’t seem so bad this drowning business, because I’m drowning in chocolate.

  10. It’s sickly sweetness caught in my throat. I knew the chocolates were a guilt present. Why couldn’t he just leave? Why did he pretend he wanted to stay and to make things right again? It would all just end up the same. As if the cheap chocolates made up for it..

  11. They say it produces the same chemical in the body as when you’re in love. Serotonin? Either way, it’s yummy, gooey, stress relief personified. The foil-wrapped bar that I go for when I can’t deal with life. Emotional eating is bad, but at the same time–oh so good. Frosting licked off my fingers when nobody is looking.

  12. Deep, rich, chocolate flooded my taste buds. I tried to savor every moment of it. It had been a long time since I’d had it. It reminded me of when I was younger, when my mom was still alive and we’d share a chocolate bar together. I use to always make a mess. How I miss her.

  14. Sweet, sticky and sickly delicious. Unable to stop eating it, she became depressed. And her depression simply led her to eat more and more chocolate until it was difficult to reach for the box. But more and more chocolate was craved by her emotions and stomach. She began to cry and sob all while eating the sweet candy. Crying she still could not stop, but she could only eat.

  15. It is delicious. I love all sorts of chocolate in different varieties such as candies, cakes, sweets, desserts. I think of comfort food when I think of chocolate. It makes me feel better sometimes, though others I just feel fat for not limiting myself.

    by Margie on 02.15.2011
  16. Oh love how it makes me feel. i love the smooth texture, the milky taste, the way it melts on my tongue. I don’t always crave it, but when I do…it’s magical.

    by Shayna on 02.15.2011
  17. I wish I were eating a big slab of dark chocolate. I wish I were in the rainforest. I wish I were in Africa. I wish I knew the proper usage of “was” and “were”. That is all.

    by james on 02.15.2011
  18. chocolate, velvety smooth with a delicious fatty but cleansing taste. Empowering, caffeine filled. Reminds me of a color I dislike, but its beautiful flavor fixes its harsh looks. I don’t even know what else to say, except that many ate much of it on valentines day.

    by Writers Block on 02.15.2011
  19. This is possibly a girl’s best friend… it is there in times of need, to comfort, to binge on, and to relax. It can be a substitute for relationships, loss and other things that pain a person in it’s chocolatey goodness.

  20. Chocolate is yummy, and delicious. As a child I loved to feel the warm, taste of it fill my tastebuds and literally send me on a rollercoaster. They’re absolutely amazing with smores and hot chocolate. It’s just a great experience. I think that’s why it’s such a fad.

    by Sara on 02.15.2011
  21. I love the way it melts in my mouth. The solid sugar turning to liquid the moment it hits my warm lips. I love the way it makes me feel when I’m eating it, yet I hate the way it makes me feel after. Indulge. Regret. Indulge. Regret. Indulge. Regret…
    But worth it.

    by Nikki on 02.15.2011
  22. was what i used to think would save the world. How could there be a planet filled with something so magical and yet there be conflict here? I coul not comprehend that bitterness was a quality found not only in chocolate but also in people. The bitter people had a way of dulling the sweetness of even the best milk chocolates.

    by Daniela on 02.15.2011
  23. Chocolate is a very good present for valentines day. Although not everybody likes it. It’s a good treat to eat if you’re a girl and you have cramps that are killer. Don’t eat too much of it, it will make your poop runny.

    by hahayes on 02.15.2011
  24. Chocolate reminds me of valentines day which was yesterday. I am currently on the opposite side of the country from where my girlfriend is. I play music professionally. I love chocolate. Chocolate fondue is amazing.

    by Eric Martin on 02.15.2011
  25. Mmmm. Chocolate. Tastes so good, yet is bad for you in large quantities. Dark chocolate is supposedly good for you yet doesn’t taste as good (to me anyway). I think of Valentine’s Day too. Chocolate makes things better, sometimes…

    by Christie on 02.15.2011
  26. Smooth, brown and luxurious. I feel it gliding down me, dripping gently on to the white tiled floor. The contrart of colours brings greater delight to the eye. My red painted toes slip and slide across the shiny floor, and I grasp the bath side, warm from the lifting, floating bubbles. Rainbows leap from the bubbles, floating across the warm and comforting room.

  27. Brown, sweet, melt in the mouth. Chocolate is a dream, a fantasy, only occasionally is it real, for nothing so delicious could be created by man. It is the food of the gods, Eve’s temptation in the Garden of Eden. Who needs apples when there is chocolate. Anyone who says they do not like chocolate is telling a lie. They’re just not trying hard enough. Eat it while sitting in your favourite armchair, eat it while watching television, eat it while you’re in the bath. Just eat it! Flavours are tricky. Choose wrongly and you will spoil a small piece of heaven. Generally nuts, dried fruit and honeycomb with complement the taste, but soft centres are more problematic. Turkish delight, marzipan, coffee creams and fondant are the devil’s own creations.

  28. tastes good, makes you put on too much weight, doesn’t make you feel better, it’s addictive and makes you want more and more. too expensive yet worth it. you dont know why you buy it but you always have to. I wish it didnt make you so fat, it tastes so nice. Maybe one day they will bring out chocolate that doesn’t make you so fat and I will buy loads and loads of it.

  31. i hate chocolate because it’s so dark and it tastes old. i dont like how everyone says they like chocolate it’s too cliched because if everybody liked chocolate then it means nobody likes anything else. all the other people in the world can like something different and it will be looked down upon because it’s not chocolate.

  32. This bean has caused me to believe in the power of food. My dad loves this, and he is allergic. He will eat ice cream only if it is chocolate. The best I ever had was in Cusco, Peru. The Incas knew how to make a bar!

  40. yummy I love chocolate and it kinda shows love as well. I sometimes feel my mouth starts to burn when I eat too much chocolate but still can’t stop eating it :p I can go without it for days but some days the craving is too much.

It’s a nice feeling when someone else gives you chocolate, more fun to buy it yourself thought because you know what you like. Time over!
